For a long time, I’ve been checking and periodically posting the highest rated models. I decided today to do the same with scenes. These are the ratings as of 1/12/22 at 8 AM EST.

A few observations. All scenes are from 2018 or later. All ten are within .03% of each other. Calhoun appears in five of the Top 10. Benjamin, Kace, Sky and Jos Alvarez in two each. And looking at the Top Rated Models list I see that Calhoun is #2 on that list too, with James. Kace, Sky & Benjamin ranking highly on that list too.

To me Calhoun & Benjamin have a similar look, neither are on my personal favorites list, but as of now they do seem to be the most highly ranked models on Broke Straight Boys





Today is one of my two days a week I go to work to keep my mind stimulated, and so this was a good pre-work warm-up exercise this morning.

Alas the earlier Broke Straight Boys scenes in my opinion were just as good and in some cases better. Some of the above models I am a fan of others not so much.

I was trying to find the right place (keeping in mind I said I do not want to start any more threads, we have in my opinion far too many causing many good ones to get buried) to put this so I could get answers to this intriguing question. At least to me it is. It comes from my thread in context of a hot jock getting fucked by a much smaller but large endowed guy.

I am fascinated by what makes a jock wanted to be controlled. It is also true a small guy more often than not likes to take control so I suppose the large guy is often more passive as in this scene.

I usually don’t count brand new scenes, (or models on my models list), as they have fewer votes and the numbers are skewed, but I LOVE Ethan Steel and my friend Jay made the complication, so I am making an exception.

As of today, April 12, 2023.

Observations:
Only three multiple Models on list, Calhoun, (3), Sky and Ethan (2).
Newest, (aside from Ethan compilation), Darron & Ashton, 3/12/22
Oldest, Lucas & Johnny from January 24, 2013. This was a MOST significant episode in Broke Straight Boys history as it was the first regular bareback scene and caused quite a stir on the forum, but that is a story for another day.

Seven of the top 10 today were on the top 10 fifteen months ago as well. By the way, I did this on scrap paper this morning and I may have miss written or screwed up so if anyone sees any errors on my list, I will accept the corrections graciously.

This is just a list of the most popular. It is a big world, including among membership of this site. I personally have always found Top 10 lists interesting from the old TV Neilson ratings, to the Top Movies released each weekend, to the Top 25 songs each week while I was growing up. There is also diversity in people’s tastes. It is just a fun exercise for me, nothing more and nothing less. If you are not interested in reading “most popular” lists, you do not have to read it or even comment on it.

Yea, my calculation from messing with my vote and seeing how it effects the score says there’s 35 ish votes for the Ethan compilation scene which seems a little low considering the Ricky #2 scene that came out a little after has over 60 votes. I guess being something not new, and not normal content didn’t get it the viewership of a typical scene?

That is the danger of using this rating. to be comparable in a meaningful way each rating must have a very similar sample size.

Once a scene is several months old, even without knowing the number of votes, I take the score as an accurate reflection of the overall audience.

The difference between number 1 and 10 is 3 hundredth of 1 percent, a statistically meaningless difference. In plain language they are the same.

Much like with other surveys, horse races, automobile races or human races decided by a hundredth of a second or even close political elections. Look at Al Gore versus George Bush. I find it all very interesting.

It makes sense that more folks would watch a new scene than compilation. But how can you figure out how many votes a scene or model has? I’d love to figure that out.

(Score before vote)(x) + (what you voted)= (score after vote)(x+1)

(Score before change)(x)+(change to score)=(score after change)(x)

Type equation into wolfram alpha and solve for x because I’m lazy, x is the number of votes before you voted… enjoy!

Haha took me a few attempts to figure it out again, I don’t do enough math at work.
