It's a while since I have commentated on a scene due to personal reasons, but I have dipped in from time to time over the past few months and frankly every scene seems to be the same. There is so little variety in these current scenes that to me they are looking already tired and boring. This scene in particular is a case in point. These boys have been doing porn for a while, both on Broke Straight Boys and sister sites, so my question really is around why it is necessary to constantly instruct them throughout the scene. They know that in order to be paid, whether they are gay or straight (and to me the jury is still out on this regarding these boys) they need to put on a good show. From the off they are told to take clothing off, when to suck dick, when to fuck and when to change position. For me it really is a artificial environment because the scene doesn't flow naturally. The positions are the same in all the scenes I have viewed recently, where's the spontaneity, variety and individuality of the model. Also I agree with Jay, these two models were too similar , there needs to be variety here to. While I know Broke Straight Boys are doing there best in a bad situation there still needs to be variety to make scenes interesting, where's the change in view from just being on the futon, where's the variety in positions other than doggy or missionary. How about getting them to do some rimming or even try kissing more. I am afraid I think it's time to up the game here otherwise I can see membership beginning to decline. Let's hope future scenes get better.

I don't know, but I may be about to go out on a limb here. Interesting comments regarding this scene and the current "flavor" of Broke Straight Boys I think everyone has valid points they are making, based on their perception of this site and the direction it seems to be going in. I for one, find most of these scenes to be "hokey". Knowing what we already know about these boys, their porn experiences, their claims of being straight or gay, all of that stuff, it is a big leap of fantasy to see and hear these boys spend 10 minutes of film time debating if they will kiss, suck cock, fuck, or anything else and at what price. Surely we all know that all of those things have been discussed long before filming began. Those boys who are bottoming (for the first time, right?) didn't excuse themselves to go take care of the personal hygiene issues necessary for a bottom so one has to assume there was "prep work" done. Surely there is some happy medium that can be reached to accomplish the end result without trying to duplicate the long ago past yet be relevant to the name of this website....I am sorry but I for one find the 10 minutes of inane banter we have to witness at the beginning nothing more than filler for the 20-25 minutes of allotted film time. It wouldn't be so bad if it was at least believable and fresh. I don't find it to be! And I must say I agree with Foxyman1961 above, everything about these "new" scenes looks and smells stale. With maybe the exception of new boy Gino, I am not sure the business of Broke Straight Boys's is getting their $800 per boy worth. And my imagination has been stretched to the limit. There are many boys and many scene's from the past 8 years I would rather go back and enjoy than this current crop of boys and scene's being offered up. If there are some new hot boys and scene's currently in the can then I think now would be a good time to release a feew of them and give this site a good dose of B12, and show us what's in store for the future. I get what your saying about the models and this has been an argument since Broke Straight Boys has started from the first day. Again, I will remind everyone about the Kinsey Scale and his research...and over the years in my personal time and in my professional time, I find sexuality mirrors the kinsey scale. When I came out of the closet at age 18, any guy kissing or having sex with another guy may it be oral or anal or both, they were gay...I didn't realize that sexuality comes in so many levels.

Each model is totally different. In regards to models filming with other porn studios, this doesn't mean the guys are totally gay. Many porn studios hire the same models I do and vice versa. Models go from studio to studio these days because they are truly broke and need to make money.

When I came out of the closet, my first gay bar here in South Florida was called The Boardwalk. I just learned in recent days, that the studio that films Fraternity X, Sketchysex and slamrush fakes all there cumshots and 95% of all the models they hire are all gay4pay/straight guys or consider themselves straight. Even the boys that work with boyshalfwayhouse, most of them are straight as well and "Clay" fakes many of there cumshots or the bottom boy that "clay" is fucking doesn't have to cum. So a lot of these boys film there because the producers of that site injects there dicks with Tri-mix (medicine injected with a needle into your dick) to get them hard and stay hard throughout the day while filming, as they film, the guys don't have to cum and its all faked. These straight guys can film there, get there dicks injected, stay hard, fake the cumshot and get paid money to perform.

With this being said, its easy money, these guys don't have to cum, the bottom boy just lays there and gets dick in his ass and the top guy just fucks and everything is faked...on Broke Straight Boys, we don't fake it and we don't inject medication into the guys dicks and since we don't fake it, some of these boys are not going to have your "typical" gay sex because these boys are not 100% gay and they place limits on themselves and I am one that respects limits.

The other type of guy is the one that has a onlyfans page. There are two types of guys that do onlyfans, the gay guys have a good following and make lots of money, the straight guys or the gay4pay guys get on the bandwagon and start doing solos on onlyfans site, they don't make enough money doing onlyfans so within there journey filming for porn studios, the gay onlyfan model tells the gay4pay/straight guy to earn money, you need to have sex with other guys...well since the gay4pay/straight guy is already having sex for a porn site...the gay4pay/straight guys starts having sex with other guys may it be with gay guys or other gay4pay/straight guys and they realize they are making a lot of money doing this and by filming porn and getting a following for there onlyfans, allows these models to earn even more money because they use filming porn as a platform to increase there viewership for there onlyfans page.

So we as a studio all of us as a studio ends up hiring these guys and you guys as the members or fans, follow these guys and then you guys easily claim they are gay and the debate rages on and we go back an fourth with this argument.

In truth, these guys that are gay4pay/straight or bisexual but on the straight side are just doing this for the money. They want to work, they don't care who pays them, how its filmed, they will take injections of medication in there dicks, they don't care of the scene is faked or not at the end of the day, they walk away with $$$ and 95% of them go back living there straight lifestyle waiting for there next gig or until they get tired and don't want to film anymore. Thanks Dande01 for your very lengthy explanation of gay for pay, but does this answer the criticism that has been levelled at not only this scene but others recently as well. I don't think so, you may think that the criticism is unjust but I do agree with Jay that that if you think that this is rude you really need to put on your big boy pants and stop ,read and think about what's being raised here, rather than give us frankly what we already know about why models do porn. Every scene seems to follow the same format, which looks tired and in need of new direction. Do we really need ten minutes at the beginning for innane chatter about nothing and a frankly poor negotiations for the models fees. As has been pointed out these have already happened behind the scenes. Mikey and Jake's scene is a case in point. You didn't even try the pretence of negotiations with them on this, just accepting what they proposed, so clearly this had already been agreed, it looked false. Also, with models who clearly have done porn before, as mentioned in the scene, why is it necessary to instruct them throughout to perform? Where is the model's ability to bring sponinaity to the scene? The overall end product looks very amateur which is not what we have seen previously in recent times from Broke Straight Boys I understand that these are difficult times to film porn, but unless the membership of Broke Straight Boys are allowed to voice concerns without offense being taken, you will never be able to produce a product you are trying to promote that will meet your audience expectations, because simply you do not take on board points that are raised in a constructive way.

Commentators seem to have read some of these as a personal attack on them, which has resulted in a reaction to a given statement. The original format is not a lot differ than having the before the scenes that Sha was filling included. I think it adds a lot. But maybe a little more sex and more camera angles and close ups of the fucking. There have been several producers and camera men over the years. They were all a little different and I think each one had some very good scenes. But now we are back to the original version that put Broke Straight Boys on the map. For me the last couple of years haven’t been much different from any other porn site featuring gay boys fucking. Not that there weren’t some great scenes and models. There certainly were. From reading this thread, it makes me realize that not only is America divided in it’s politics, but this forum is also divided in what kind of scenes we want here on Broke Straight Boys There is no right or wrong when it comes to porn and both sides are passionate about what we want. Perhaps Mark could increase the number of scenes released and have two different production crews. Perhaps Sha might come back post pandemic to bring us the type of scenes that many members have enjoyed in recent years, while David could bring us the type of guys that us “old timers” enjoy as what attracted us to Broke Straight Boys in the first place. My idea is for compromise, something not happening in our politics, but that could perhaps happen in our porn here. Just a thought......

Be that as it may, I would think that the current model's and scene "direction" will need to be tweaked a bit or the survival expectation isn't promising for this current venue....JMO
