I disagree. I love that Mark gives us a look back at some of the great moments and great models of Broke Straight Boys’s past. His Throwback scenes are presented once a week. I don’t consider a once a week feature, “too much” at all.

Of course they are, but with 1000’s of episodes and behind the scenes features, it is always good for the site owner to pick out things that newer members may not find on their own, or to remind us older members of what we may have forgotten. And what is the downside to Mark featuring a throwback each week? It is like his hot picture threads that he offers us periodically too. I say the more content provided by management to us, is more bang for our buck. I really don’t see any down side to extra material provided on the site.

Much of what you say Mike is true but there is one downside I can think of. That is it kind of lessens the glaring affect of not having 3 new episodes a week. I also would have preferred to continue the old practice of the before and after scenes being together with the episode it seemed to flow better that way at least for me. That too has a lessening affect on this glaring issue. But I bowed to what others appear to want and accept the change as should we all do when we disagree over changes.

There was another practical reason why I was against separate before & after scenes. It means far more space and time to save in other words time & space inefficient in what should be one episode. I expect for Broke Straight Boys there are no more expenses .

This weeks throwback was a great one where Jos Alvarez showed the boys some magic tricks. Funny to see the reactions of these guys. This was a fantastic group of guys we had.

I both watched and commented upon this scene when it was first released. Jos Alvarez' magic tricks were really good, and his audience was really hot. Its a very entertaining 57 minutes. Ryan Pitt's "fun fact" about himself was "By the end of this week, I will have fucked everyone at this table!" Johnny's "fun fact" was that he was a vegan, and that when he asked Sha for more plants around the house, he was seeking not more decoration but more food! I was hoping that Jos Alvarez would do the magic trick of making his cock disappear up that hot butts of Xavier Ryan and Richie West! Very cool Mark. I always loved the “Straight Talk” interviews. I read the blurb about the scene and I see it is from 2016 and that the boys talk about where they see themselves in five years, and Here We Are.

We are trying to best to give you the best content possible but the pandemic is very difficult to deal with. It is easy to look at other sites and what they are doing like Men with an unlimited budget and money to provide daily updates. We will never be able to even touch what they are doing. We have dropped the price considerably because of updates. We used to charge 35 a month and now it is a third of that. This hurts our bottom line but we had to do it. We have to battle free porn, only fans, stolen content and everything else. If our content wasn't stolen and there wasn't so much free porn we could easily have 2-3 updates a week. Most of our competition are gone and with good reason because it is hard as hell to stay afloat these days. The more updates we release per week we put the entire company at risk. We are here for the long haul. This is why we have added vintage scenes which some even have Brent Corrigan and are really good. I hope you understand that running a porn company is not what it used to be and the pandemic has thrown a wrench into everything. We literally had been booking 6 models and 3 of them cancel because of the virus. We are trying to get caught up but we can barely do that. It is a battle we are going to have to deal with for awhile. I hope you understand that releasing more updates is not easy in anyway shape or form.

As I have stated before you need to compare annual rates not monthly & those do not show wide dispersions. Don't get me wrong I have been a member from year one I will continue to be as my recent renewal proves but you must find ways to improve the product.

Getting back to this week’s throwback, it was a very interesting session, seeing the seven models as young men and not porn actors. Jesse and Levi were the newest and the quietest during the talk. Tanner and Brandon were quite confident and I had forgotten just how handsome Brandon is. I always found Tyler very handsome and Danny was my least favorite among this group in their scenes, but I see him as just a young kid too or at least was when he filmed here. But Jason Sterling was the most interesting to me. He topped and bottomed but did not want to discuss how he felt about doing gay porn. But he was a good performer.

Thank you for that Mark. I suspected as much with all of the tough Covid and economic issues you mentioned, along with other issues we've covered in the past. I DO want the site and the company to be around for the long term. Broke Straight Boys has always had its own niche and claim to fame in the industry. But I know it has also never been a fully mainstream gay mega studio with really large, seemingly unlimited budgets. So while I would also like more updates, more models, more of this and that... For myself I'm also more of a pragmatic realist of what's possible in this current climate and market.
