Frankly, I find the current scenes better than the old (BSB1) ones. There is an air of greater reality to the current system. I always found the "old" ways transparently phoney (negotiating pay, suspicious back stories, etc.). My interest is seeing these guy get into guy sex (getting their "bi" on so to speak). Part of what I liked about the old scenes was spontaneity. Sometimes it seemed like the boys were found on the street and brought in to perform. I liked who a guy came in for another solo and was "surprised" by another guy joining him and then being talked into jerking each other off then oral. Most of the time the money offers did not seem genuine, they seemed way way too high. Realistically I know you're not going to bring a guy in off the street and start filming without filling out paperwork and discussing obligations and expectations so to some extent I knew it was fantasy but it was believable fantasy.

Jon, I largely agree with all of your points, (for as you know BSB1 and David are one of the areas we usually agree).

However I think you are giving the Fort Lauderdale area too much credit for the boys appearing more street wise and reluctant. The thing I liked about Broke Straight Boys 1 and 2, is the same thing I like Broke Straight Boys now...the sensual chemistry that you really cannot fake. I liked some aspects of the old Broke Straight Boys As someone said earlier, many of the guys seemed to be really straight and many seemed like boys you could find on the street. However, if there were gay models, you knew it (like big-dick Mikey). All that said, I like the new Broke Straight Boys much better.
