Gay community losing war on AIDS as infections rise

I know that the bareback issue has apparently become a nonissue on Broke Straight Boys as it is now accepted in videos here, however it still makes me uncomfortable to watch. I saw this post this morning on one of Mark's other sites, JustUsBoys, and this linked article from U.S. News and World Report, might be food for thought regarding anal sex without condoms being promoted in porn, sending the wrong message to young sexually active gay and bisexual men.

Andy, you are obviously intelligent enough to recognize the difference between watching a professionally produced porn scene, and what happens in a casual encounter in real life, but I wonder if this rise in unprotected sex in young men has any relationship to what teenagers may see in porn on their computers. Do they understand how dangerous unprotected anal sex can be?

Good for you Andy. Guys like that are selfish s.o.b.'s who are only interested in their own physical pleasure. I *was* aware of the increase in bareback sex in daily life though. Mostly through friends who are very much into the gay scene (I do venture there but not all that often). Or take a look at Manhunt (yuck eek) every other profile expects bareback. I think they're out of their minds.
