I went back and watched the BTS too, because when Devo asked us why we thought he was straight, I wanted to go back and make sure I wasn’t making up something in my head. He totally gave off the impression that he was straight in his initial interview. I know it’s Broke Straight Boys, but we all know a majority of these boys are bi or gay. Why lie? And Sha has done such a wonderful job of asking these models in their interviews lately about their previous experience, so I’m assuming he didn’t know. His interview was last February and that was before the Charles Owens’ incident, so it is what it is. He is a favorite of mine and I still love him, but I do think he should explain why. Some may think, “what difference does it make?” Well then why should others have to be upfront? And why even do an interview in the first place and waste everyone’s time if it’s just a load of crap. I don’t expect to know real names or addresses, etc., but a genuine look into that person is always nice.
Hmmm. I fast forward and jump through some of those BTS interviews, but I do remember him discussing his previous gay experiences, and I just figured he downplayed his other site work because, well, why not, right? But he never came across as "straight" to me or even pretending to be. Just a gay kid figuring his shit out, trying to be butch on a straight boy-gay-for-pay site. The only thing he's guilty of is butching it up a little for us members. Other than that, he's fucking adorable, sweet as hell, and has more than earned his paycheck here at Broke Straight Boys I hope folks don't start hating on him now.
