It's interesting how we seem to enjoy the style and direction of the site from when we first joined. For me the classic scenes are with David running the show on his futon. Others who came later seem to enjoy Clay's style and Dan as you joined during the Johnny Robins era, that appears to be your golden age, as you say that you would follow him to another site.

I would always stay as a member of here as well as I think its an amazing site. I have to say though I enjoyed davids era as well as I loved the way it was run back then, but when you admire someone's skill and the way they work you'd always want to watch there work, well that's how it is for me anyway. Dan x

No mystery, Mike. It's a classic example of a self selection phenonenon. Them what likes David's direction cough up the cash to join; those that don't, don't.
Along comes Clay and a different set of folks like his direction/model selection enough to pay up. Same with Johnny Robbins. And nobody really likes it when their particular type of fantasy gets left out under the new regime.

Personally I joined based on watching the many clips from the old futon days floating around the web but have stayed as (so far) I find enough stuff of interest to keep going. Today's site is a bit too slick for my taste but it's still better than the options I've discoved (again,so far).

Besides, I kinda like the member forum. Yea for us!:001_cool:

That was a great analysis msguy and of course it makes sense. I as you did, enjoyed the raw look to the early stuff, definitely non-slick, but it worked right into my straight boy fantasies.

And I also agree "Yea for us!:001_cool:"
 
You should revisit the Dimitri coming out thread... enough said.
Jon: I did watch Dimitri's coming out BTS and was very moved by it. But I am confused as to what you meant by the brief post. Is there something I missed that I should go back and look for?
