Once again I like your post and I too expect too much from this site which goes to show that maybe I'm here 60:40 for the forum. I've never taken a subscription for College Dudes so I'm not sure whether the forum is as active as this one. Nevertheless AsI, you'll never get away from members posting their likes and dislikes albeit continues, repetitive or whatever - it's a free world and all that.

Speaking for myself, I don't require all the guys to be "cover boy models", or ripped, but it is still a porn site designed to sexually arouse the audience, and I do strongly believe that there is a minimum acceptable body type and facial type necessary to arouse me.

If it were not for this forum, I would have ceased my membership here long ago, for the sex scenes can get repetitive, and after a period of time, I like most people can become bored. I do notice when we have a new enthusiastic member join us here, they are often in a state of bliss having discovered this site and particularly the forum, but as time passes, for some a short time and for others a longer time, they often become disillusioned and leave typically without notice, and sometimes after a farewell. So I do understand that it is impossible for Mark to keep all of the people happy all of the time. We each have our own unique perspective on what we think is the "right" thing to show us here on Broke Straight Boys, and no one is really right and no one is really wrong. It is all a matter of perspective.

I do not expect for Mark to answer each and every member's questions and complaints for that would be a thankless job. I remember clearly when David was the producer of the scenes and he was very vocal on the forum, how frustrated he would get when he tried to change things based on some member's requests and then he got blasted for making the changes, and he said, "I can never make you guy's happy". And he was correct for we are not all of a single mind.

So I will continue to voice my pleasure and my displeasure with models and scenes, but I am speaking to my fellow forumites and don't require a direct response from Mark or Clay or anyone else in management. To me the forum is for the fans, and I understand very well, that at anytime I choose, I can cancel my membership, so when I complain, it is just me doing what I think the forum is here for me to do. I come from the opposite point of view. I am here for the scenes and the media the site provides, not for the forum. That is OK by me because I get what I pay for with the media.

What I find so tiring is the constant negativity expressed on the forum. I had to laugh when one of the models described the forum as sort of like high school. There are just too many snarky and nasty comments flying about just because one can do this. I see little sense of "community" (which used to be talked about) other than the joyful expression of negativity.

Now, to be fair (what is that you ask?), this is the universal nature of internet chat forums that are not moderated. There are too many folks who get their jollies by trolling for fun and raining on everyone else's parade.

I have been pretty much ignoring the forum for the past couple of months and I am enjoying my membership to Broke Straight Boys much more for it.

I still do enjoy Mike Yank and some of the other older members discussions about scenes from the past which I may have overlooked. Broke Straight Boys's archive is a real treasure trove. But, I do not need the agitation with all the constant negative feed back about what Broke Straight Boys is currently producing. I rate the episodes and if it goes too much astray, I guess I will leave the site. That has not yet happened and I suspect as long as I stay away from the forum -- it is likely to remain that way.

Please do continue to enjoy your exercise of free speech; but, the joy is that I do not have read it or take it into account in any way.

Having seen the comments, and mine too, of the forum being a magnet, it does make me wonder what we do with the rest of our lives. I have a busy work load and also family commitments since my dad died however, I do on the odd occasion manage a bit of fun and frolics. For those people who find the forum antagonising and boring then I'm quite surprised that they ever return.

I of course completely agree with that statement. Why would anyone come here if it is not to their liking? Just as I skip watching certain episodes on the site, (as with the most recent Johnny & Duncan scene).

Some like me enjoy the forum more than the scenes, others are the opposite, and some like both. Freedom of choice is a wonderful thing and we should all exercise our choices to give ourselves the maximum pleasure, for we are paying to be here, so why cause ourselves any grief? Life is way too short for that.

Indeed Ms K. But you know how threads digress. I would love to see more of Ayden too, he is very much on top of my list these days which just goes to show that first and sometimes second impressions can be wrong. I think what put me off Ayden at first was seeing him on F4F. He must have really had a rough day and I certainly wasn't impressed. That said since his haircut and gym workouts he is looking fitter than ever. Pity he's straight.
