I would like to see examples as well Elyot. I just re-read this thread for a third time and all I see is a 'self-fulfilling prophecy' of a member saying that he expects to be "bashed" for giving his opinion and then saying that he was "bashed". I read some disagreements but isn't that the purpose of a forum? Again, I am not in the majority as I don't enjoy Ari but if other's do enjoy him, how does that affect me? I still don't get what the controversy is all about!

As I was the first to post a "not so favorable" comment about the scene and my reluctance to do so, (in response to a member's comment about not wanting to see Ari again) the flood gates opened. I am sorry for that happening. I am not sorry about my opinion of the scene. No two minds are alike and I realize that what floats one persons boat may sink another's. I have enjoyed reading and posting on this forum for five years now and I enjoy the "dynamic's" of the threads and many of the members comments. I sort of feel like I know some of you folks (I don't though) and the individual taste many members have. In retrospect, I probably shouldn't have posted my comments and just kept them to myself but my fingers got a head of my brain. Rough sex is disagreeable with my personality, but that doesn't make it wrong for anyone else. That is what I was trying to convey in my original post here. It’s all good, I think a few people got upset thinking we were arguing about whose opinion was right. All I was saying is that while it was rough sex, Jos Alvarez seemed to be enjoying himself and I dont really know of a case that the model was made to do anything they didn’t agree to. I remember a few scenes in the archives were someone tapped out and said that’s all I can take and when that happened they quit and did something else. I personally think there isn’t enough rougher sex on the site but I also think there are too many twinks. It’s all personal preference and I hope no one was really offended because I certainly didn’t mean it that way.

Sorry for responding to this a couple of days late, but I have to agree with both Buckeye and Johnny that you said absolutely nothing wrong SFPS01. You expressed your opinion and that is exactly what the forum is supposed to be all about. There is no "right" and there is no "wrong". It is all about our own individual tastes and opinions and there is no reason to apologize for anything. I would encourage you and anyone else who reads the forum to keep on speaking your mind and not to worry about what anyone else might think. What's important is what you think!

I'll have to say that Ari is not my type. He's not "pretty" enough for me. My favorites are people like Zach Covington or Tanner. Repaneur, I would not think that you would know what I mean, that's because it was not sent to/about you. I'm sure the one it was intended for knows. I find it better to let those people involved in the conversation speak for themselves, if they feel the need to do so. More problems are caused when "bystanders" get involved. One reason there are fewer and fewer has to do with the way some people on this forum lose their ability not to criticize performers (as opposed to scenes and performances), other members and sometimes even staff. Yes I had him hooked up with old fart as well. It may or may not be so, but I do know the back story having talked to friends and read the old thread. It’s a general rule or at least accepted practice on the forum not to get personal. It’s about Broke Straight Boys and the models and the scenes! There is a non Broke Straight Boys part of the forum also but it’s not about personal attacks either. One of our members recently left because a number of us called him out on posting little cute private messages back and forth with his buddies. That’s what Email and the private messages are for.

I’m not trying to be the forum police here. It’s not any of our job except as a group to try to preserve order. Mark is pretty tolerant but I’ve seen a few people banned and a few others who probably should have been.
