So, what sort of visual aspects or behavior would you like to see when it comes to the videos/actors? I'm guessing passion is off the table, so maybe hesitation? Reticence? Uncertainty? Nervousness? Disdain? Though this is something I loathe; like you came here to do gay porn, dude. Get over it and bend over while you're at it. LOL.
I do think it's exciting to watch when a straight guy discovers something pleasurable in an act they thought they'd hate. And I do think it's important for
Broke Straight Boys to provide a variety of scenes but I also think, we as viewers need to clarify what we'd like to see and maybe
Broke Straight Boys can reach a nice happy medium where everyone is getting what they want.
Let's see...
Hesitation - perhaps
Reticence - not so much
Uncertainty - sure
Nervousness - why not
Disdain - maybe a little
Maybe even a little trepidation thrown in for good measure.
But it's really not so much about specific things I want to see. It's more about the guys being real. Let's start with the basics; given that the name of the site is
Broke Straight Boys, it's kind of logical to assume that the models on the site are going to be:
a) broke
b) straight
What's not so subtly implied here is that, because these guys ARE straight, they wouldn't be doing this if they didn't need the money - at least initially. Now, in my experience, straight guys as a general rule don't 'love the cock.' (They might have very high esteem for their own mind you, but they don't usually go seeking out others.) Now under normal circumstances, there's usually only 3 reasons that a straight guy would even consider sex with another guy:
1) He's getting paid enough money to make it worth his while.
2) He's the designated prison bitch.
3) He's all horned up and there are no females around.
(All three of these provide great fantasy fuel, by the way, but that's another issue.) Even with that last one, he's more likely to take matters in hand himself than go looking for an over-eager fairy to satisfy his need. The point is, sex with another dude isn't really something he's been dying to try. (Unless, of course, he's not really straight - but again that's another issue.) It's kind of natural for him to be less than excited about it, nervous, uncertain and probably even a little freaked out. Expressing any or all of these things does NOT make him:
a) homophobic
b) a hater
c) a closet queen who's just trying to cover it up (well, maybe sometimes)
So I like to see, at least some of the time, a guy who is unapologetically straight, reacting the way a straight man would react in such a situation. Not feigned. Not rehearsed. Just being who he is. He shouldn't have to be afraid of being crucified in the forums for being himself. Unless the guy is running around screaming "I hate fags" I think he should pretty much be given a free pass. And every so often, it's really nice to see a guy who totally expected to hate it, be surprised by the fact that it's actually pretty good - even if it's not something he'd do every day.
So there you have it - the world according to JohnnyG.
And that's the truth, Plpthttttt!
