Sometimes we agree profoundly; sometimes, we disagree, dramatically. I doubt that we would be make a very happy married couple, because: 1) You don't have a "grandfather" fetish; and, 2.) You are a plain-spoken and honest, engineer; whilst I am a consummately mendacious, second-rate, writer. (Somerset Maugham once said, you know, "My ambition is simply to be a first-class, second-rate,writer." And that is my life's foggy horizon, also.
