Honestly, I do have my ways of knowing that quite a number of models (more on BSB1 than BSB2, or -3) were presented as straight, when in fact they had gone the whole nine yards in previous times, on previous sites. Staying off topic, I was quite moved during your first day in NYC when we accidentally found ourselves in front of The National Museum of the American Indian–New York located in the the historic Alexander Hamilton U.S. Custom House, in lower Manhattan across from the entrance to the ferry to The Statue of Liberty. Our visit to that museum was an unexpected, unplanned part of our week, and I did learn a lot regarding the mistreatment by the United States government of the Native Americans who were just living their lives when the white man "discovered" America.

I LOVE IT when I start a thread and it goes off on so many tangents. What brought me to Broke Straight Boys as a subscriber was Kodi's initial interview which is when I fell in love with that boy.

I have always refrained from doing this because:
1.) Most of the models in question were quite (or very) good;
2.) I never saw the purpose in doing so - I mention it only because of the present case;
3.) I am truly not out to change the overall complexion of the site, or to spoil anyone's fantasy, or fun! (This issue has just exercised me, probably inordinately, because of the overall principles involved, and, because it pisses me off a little, when sand gets thrown into the wheels of MY fantasies!)

Agreed again Kyle. I have moved around a bit since I qualified as an engineer - I also moved around during my engineer apprenticeship. I have so many friends older and younger who won't move away from home and would rather be on the dole than move away for employment. This stinks and it is correct that the benefits agencies and cutting down on excuses like this.

I've really enjoyed working with older people, you tap into their experience but it's also good to know that they also listen to your ideas and not just bin them because of your age and inexperience. Shit just realised this is off thread. WTF

Mike, that is exactly what this site is suppose to be, straight guys experiencing gay sex FOR THE FIRST TIME. That's the intrigued. When that is removed this site becomes like a thousand others out there and many are free. I guess I have become more gullible perhaps but I really bought into the premise of Broke Straight Boys when I joined. In American terms, I suppose I would likely be a very conservative Democrat. (In generations past, I might have been a liberal Republican, but they don't really exist anymore, do they?)

In Canadian terms, I am what is known as a "Red Tory" (Jon - what Mrs. Thatcher, whom I greatly admire, though she wouldn't have thought much of ME, that's for sure - would have called a "wet" Tory.)

Politically, I believe in strong fiscal policy (balanced budgets where possible); strong national defence; and a strong emphasis on law and order in society. In terms of social policy, I believe in allowing people as much latitude as possible in their personal lives (as Pierre Trudeau once put it, when he decriminalized homosexuality in Canada in the late '60's: "The state has no place in the bedrooms of the nation"); a reasonably generous welfare state, not to go beyond affordability, but not to exclude compassion; universal medical care; and considerable investment in public education (on a meritocratic basis), in science and basic research, in the liberal arts and the humanities (in the universities and elsewhere), in the fine arts, and in public broadcasting.

When it comes to our comportment as consumers and fans of gay erotic video, my only wish is that we treat the models, as we would wish to be treated in similar circumstances - not as consumer goods, but as real, flesh-and-blood people, with their own pressing, and three-dimensional, problems.

In this latter regard, I think each of us is (though certainly not to be judged solely on the basis of his own worst post) chiefly as good as the way in which he treats his least-favourite model.
