20 Questions With Littlemonster

Lol! I spell it "defence" I all spell "colour" I don't know other words that are different though!

LM, as far as spelling goes I definitely prefer the US version, it’s so much more straightforward.

Australia, being part of the Commonwealth generally follows the UK and you’d probably be surprised or surprized at the amount of differences between US and UK spelling. Advice/advise, licence/license, cosy/cozy, analyse/analyze, catalogue/catalog, centre/center…

It can all be a pain in the arse…or it that ass :001_smile:

Tbh I am really simple just a night at home cuddling watching a movie! I think it's so cute!

I think cuddling together in a warm blaket on a cold night and handholding are so underrated. I love all of it.

So I came here when I was 12 and my accent kept getting weaker and weaker. Now you will have to really listen for me to hear it!

Yes I was born in Wales in a small town called Llangollen. My accent had virtually gone and now I have a semi Yorkshire accent mixed up with a bit of Durham.

Grace Advice and advise have two separate meanings. Once can give or take advice but one gone only advise another person.

As far as the other words are concerned only the ones with less letters can actually be classed as the lazy way of spelling. I'm a great lover of they English language and I am constantly appalled when new words off the street are included in the Oxford dictionary. The good thing about the English language is that, as far as nouns are concerned, it confuses the hell out of foreigners who are trying to learn it. Regarding the rest of the grammar, English is very easy to learn.

During the course of my work I use both UK and US spelling, it depend on which country I'm writing for and has nothing to do with laziness.

Jon, if you don't like what I have to say, or the way I choose to spell, then place me on your ignore list...

Yeah, me too...

LM, I've just watched the last twilight installment so my current fantasy under the blanket snuggler is Edward Cullen, do you have a fantasy celebrity under the blanket snuggler?

Did you see his interview with Oprah? It was very interesting and I think he showed more of himself. I am not really a fan, but Oprah does have a way of having people open up.

LM, on page 131 of the 'Cute Boy Friday' thread there are some very nice Justin Bieber photos you might want to take a peek at...or feel free to post some of your own stash :001_smile:

I have not seen his interview with Oprah (yet) I enjoy his looks more then his music but I do like it too! No I have not seen Gaga live! I think I'll be saying this for a long time but I don't have the money to!

If you like the Justin Beiber type guy, can we introduce you to One Direction? There are five cuties in that group.
