Well I eventually watched part of this scene till I got bored. As mentioned by other members the studio - or garage or whatever you call it, is a revisit to the first time they painted this place way back in the day. The sign has survived the test of time, but the directors have not.

Zak still cannot kiss or maybe he doesn't want to. If he doesn't want to, then leave it out as it looks uncomfortable. Both guys have hot bodies and are keepers. Just do something about the studio, the kissing and that awful stupid 3 minute interview beforehand. I'm puzzled that the scene was 31 mins long too. It currently has one of the lower ratings in a while, 3.47, so obviously more folks agree with you than not, Centex. Different strokes and all that stuff, but I really enjoyed watching these two together.

Liked the first part of the video, where Jacee fucked Zak. Jacee's dominance really worked for me - and obvious for Zak as well, who had a boner from the start.

I totally agree Robert, about the original concept of Broke Straight Boys, but I personally did get some of that old Broke Straight Boys vibe out of this video. Neither of the models acted like porn stars, and I got the feeling that these were two somewhat shy straight guys trying their best to give blowjobs.

It would have been hotter if Jaycee, as bad4apple said had been "able to achieve ARHFGG status. That's "Abram rock hard from the get go" status". But that actually worked for my "believably straight" standard as I can certainly see where a straight oriented young guy would have trouble keeping a stiffie with a dude sucking his cock, while another dude had a video camera recording the activity. I am hopeful that in future scenes Jaycee gets over this nervous problem, even if it means swallowing a pill before the shoot.

Jason, I think you had a great title to this thread. I do believe that Zak is showing some more leadership and growth as a model. He was a real trooper working on Jaycee. I like the occasional, how am I doing? coming form both of them. Jaycee has potential despite having a difficult time keeping it stiff. For a first time having sex with another guy I can give him the benefit of the doubt.

As for the shoot itself, it was sub-standard. I felt I was watching, "The Night the lights went out in Denver" or "Dark Shadows". The red and black background and furniture does make for a good look. However, those colors absorb light. There is almost no reflection therefore it creates shadows. Broke Straight Boys 1 almost always had white walls and light colored sheets on the futon so for the most part you did not have lighting issues. If you are going to use dark sheets and props to video (especially for close-ups) you need either a light on the camera to light-up those shots or perhaps some overhead lights over those areas perhaps tied into a dimmer switch so they can add in some filler light. I know when I've done video (using a far more primitive Hi-8 Cam-coder) those are tricks I've tried to use to.

My last concern is the intro to this scene, " Jaycee suck up all of Zaks cum". Did I miss something here? I did watch it three times. I do believe Zak was still cover in cum until Jaycee came (which we mostly missed) and the only cum on Zak was Jaycee's. Did Jaycee clean up between cuts?

I gave Zak a 5, Jaycee a 4 and the scene a 2.

I finally got around to watching this after reading the reviews first. I agree that the camera work and lighting was amateurish. Not at all up to Broke Straight Boys's usually high standards. Seeing Jaycee go down on Zak right after the cumshot was a missed opportunity. I agree that seeing all of Zak's splatter should have been a secondary consideration for the cameraman. It wasn't going to go anywhere in 10-15 seconds. lol I ended up giving the video itself a low score.

Having said that, I was more impressed with Jaycee than I expected to be. The interviews in this scene were some of the better ones we've seen recently. While the new style lacks the more personal feel of a back and forth conversation, we actually learned personal tidbits about them and gained insights into their personalities beyond the usual name, rank and serial number. We learned that Jaycee has a girlfriend with 2 kids, and that she doesn't know what he's up to with the video work yet. lol

Zak did go on a little bit about being straight, which was mercifully brief and to the point. I appreciated his honesty in saying that he just met Jaycee when he showed up at the door of the mansion. (Jaycee is probably a local to the area.) So we weren't pained in watching Zak struggle like a deer in the headlights trying to say something flattering about somebody he barely knew. haha Jaycee came across to me as a decent guy. I appreciated his can-do attitude and willingness to give a good show for the viewers, regardless of how straight he might be.
