Mine is a cross over between a Redneck, Laborer, Blue Collar type of guy. The type that is rough around the edges, but yet who has a soft spot in his heart. He would come home, strip out of all his clothes and pounce on me. He would still be sweaty from his hard day's work. Suddenly, he would abruptly stop and say, "I'm sorry. I'm so dirty. Let me get cleaned up and then we can make love." I would then tell him I would have dinner ready for him when he got out of the shower...The night is young.

What I picture in my mind of whom I would want to pounce on me is someone like Tate or even hairy Josh Long (College Dudes).

Who is your ideal boy?

I think my ideal fantasy guy is probably like a jekel and Hyde. I'd like someone who is macho in public, someone that works in the out side and if people saw him they would think he might be tough but when he comes home to me he is a cross over who still has his rough edges but who has a good and pure heart as well so that he would come home have a shower and then be there just for me so that behind closed doors its just our little world where we each have our perfect place and in bed he would be the sort of person that's not afraid to tell me what he wants and has this animalistic passion and when we are out together he still has his tough side but you know he's always yours and he would surprise me every now and again with new places to be with each other outside

thinking about it if anyone's watched twilight it would be someone like jacob black

Okay, if we're talking fantasy: my guy would be 6', beefy with a strong body, but not a "workout" type of guy. He would be artistic, either paint, music or act. He is very sexual and loves to wrestle and roll around in bed; also a cuddler. As far as age and color goes, that would not be very important, but he must be comfortable in his own skin. The closest guy would be someone like Erik Schrody, known as Everlast, also his band's name. Here is a photo of him about 20 years ago...I can't find any recent ones of him without his sunglasses on.

Hey, Louis -

Loved your post, and really relate to it. I grew up on the farm, feeding (and cleaning up after) 800 pigs a day - so I am used to hard work, and respect the people who do it. I loved the books and went to school (M.A. in political philosophy) and now, I sit typing at a computer all day long. . . .

Over many years, I tried dating lawyers, accountants, and social workers. All of them were attracted by my mind (and flawless prose. . . LOL!!!) but, in the end, there was always a problem: usually that I wasn't rich enough, or good-looking enough, for them. They pretty much all 'traded up', from me.

Almost four years ago (on November 2, 2010): I met my boyfriend, Mr. K. He's incredibly beautiful, and incredibly smart, but. . . he had a bit of a hard-knock life. He should have been able to go to university, but hardly was able to finish high-school. (Absent Dad, alcoholic Mom, foster homes.)

Mr. K. works as a construction-worker, now. What impresses me so much, about him, is that he NEVER let any of the troubles in his past get him down. . . EVER. He has carried on, with a smile. He loves to work; and he works HARD. He is brimming with affection and joie de vivre. And he has held me up and encouraged me, and been loyal and loving to me, even when I was having some very difficult health problems.

One of my friends asked me, a couple of years ago, "A., with this rarefied education you have - how could you possibly have anything in common with this guy???" I said, "LOOK. I have a library stocked with, probably, 5,000 books. I've read them all, from Plato, to Emile Cioran. (The famous Romanian pessimist-philosopher, and aphorist.) If I NEED ANOTHER BOOK, there is always the Book-of-the-Month Club, but. . . .

You cannot BUY someone who has a good heart, and who truly loves and cares about you, at the Book-of-the-Month Club, or anywhere. What matters most, in life (as Jung would tell you) is compatibility of the psyche. After 48 years, I am grateful to find another human being who has the same emotions as mine. . . and I am happy to work, from there."

As it happens, Louis, my b/f Mr. K. is super-smart. I can talk to him about Plato, Aristotle, or Schopenhauer, if I want to. On the other hand, if I need a hug, he is always there to give me one. So, I love him.

And Mr. K. is the cutest and hottest guy I've ever met, too! Beth, I used to think Evandro Soldati was the cutest man in the world. . . . https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MyZmh7_21QE

Well, Mr. K. is a whole lot cuter, and hotter. I love him a LOT, and. . . he is my perfect fantasy boy. ALWAYS.

Hey, Beth - it is a little tough, because he lives 1500 miles away. . . *Sigh*. But we have written one another daily for almost four years, talk frequently on the phone, etc. He has invited me to meet him, in Missouri, in September. So that's the plan, for now.

Kisses,

Without getting sappy so Jon won't get mad lol I think I found the ideal man in my William. We were best friends when we first met and that never changed for 20 yrs. We liked the same things clothes, music (except me Stones and him Beatles) other friends, sports, type of cars, food damn near everything!! As much as I have talked about Wiliiam over the years I would describe his looks and personality as a cross between Cousin Anthony and Mick.

Even though, my ideal fantasy type guy has always been Adam, in terms of looks and demeanor, I would have to agree with sentiments expressed already; my buddy of 20+ years, gives me "my cake and eat it too" reality! It's easy to dream about the perfect "match" but, when you find it, there are no words to describe it!:001_wub:

This is getting far too soppy and both of you need a kick up the ass. However, back on thread and I would say my ideal fantasy boy would be (thinks), mmmm Mike Robbins. He was dealt such a bad deal but the time he spent with us at Broke Straight Boys, were most enjoyable. For those who were not hanging around, Mike used to post a lot too. Sadly he has passed on RIP

Why? For having experienced the "ideal/fantasy" guy?:confused1: We both mentioned a "fantasy guy" who was a model on the site. May Mike Robbins rest in peace also:frown:
