It doesn't surprise me to learn that any porn model will also "escort". They are young and pretty and make their money by turning on primarily older guys. Their prime earning time in this field is very limited as there will always be someone younger or prettier coming along. As I recently said on the subject, "It is the nature of the beast". One way or another, they are all earning their money with their youth and good looks, and I'm sure high class escorting pays more than doing scenes here or for similar studios.
