I've been a member of this site for a while, read and participated in many a forum discussion. Every now and again, I'll read a post scene comment that really makes me wonder, "Where is the Human Factor" when voicing an opinion about a model or a scene he's performed in?
Now, I'm not trying to get people agitated with some of the observations I will make but, it does make me wonder sometimes.
The general feeling is; people want to see fresh new faces, models with no prior experience in the adult film industry oh yeah and be straight, believably straight, or have non-typical gay type mannerisms. I get that!
What I find hard to appreciate is: when most of these criteria are met by the models presented, why, seemingly little consideration is given to things like; age, sexual experience, comfort level with certain aspects of "gay sex performance"? Even the willingness to present themselves for this kind of entertainment....even though they are being paid! The desire to get to "know the models as people" "humanize them beyond the scope of their performances" find out how they entertain themselves when not filming....there are a lot of human factors that people enjoy learning about these guys! But, when it comes to their performances.......sometimes, they can be treated like "Slabs of Beef" or criticized for the very qualities or features that make them Human in the first place? Ever just have a Bad Day at the job? I know I have! Sometimes it affects my performance that day too!
Over all, I'm just putting that out there because, it's something I think about
