I agree with all of what you say Scott, but when I talk about branding, will they discontinue ads such as this which is currently appearing on many other sites, to entice new members joining here who are into the "straight boy" fantasy?
No, probably not.
I imagine money is involved in as much as they want to stay in business. If there are no straight guys applying they can't just pull some out of some magic hat. I don't believe that things are the way they are currently because the company is being cheap. We have been told by management that straight guys are not applying to model here, and I have no reason to believe we are being lied to and the company is hiring "other" types of models just to save money. The whole gay-for-pay thing is huge these days in porn, so any truly straight guys wanting to do it have a lot more choices of places to apply than when Broke Straight Boys first started out. Also, I think the whole Chaturbate/webcam thing has had something to do with it -- anyone with a computer and a camera can easily go online now and be their own porn star. They can work from home, when they want and do what they want. The pay is pretty much crap, but I'm friends with a few Chaturbate models (all straight boys -- one even sent me a HOT video birthday card recently!
) and a couple actually do make really good money. I've tried to get some of them to apply to Broke Straight Boys but they are happy doing their own thing on their own time and their own terms, so what are you gonna do?

. The STRAIGHT in Broke Straight Boys is a thing of the past. How many of the new models introduced in the last year do we REALLY think are REALLY straight? Of the last 22 guys introduced -- since the twins in the autumn of 2015 -- I count between 2 and 4 who I think were really straight (and the one uber-straight guy, Tim, was a disaster!
). It's over. Branding notwithstanding, times have changed and management have told us there just aren't many (or any???) truly straight guys who apply to be on the site anymore. If Broke Straight Boys/BluMedia is going to survive then they have to adapt and change, which they have been doing. But members also have to adapt and like it or not realize that the old days are gone and not coming back. That has been an issue I've struggled with for a long time, but everything and everyone has to adapt, change and evolve or get left behind or die. Hard, sad fact of life.
I honestly don't care if a gay for pay's site's roster is no gay boys or it's mostly gay boys. What I want is the gay for pay fantasy to be done well inside the videos. I feel Broke Straight Boys is delivering on that in spades. So long as Broke Straight Boys delivers on that, I'll keep on as a member...

Chaturbate has changed the entire porn landscape a full on cultural change especially for those straight guys looking to make some cash. Porn must adapt to the idea that so many of the Cam models are their own boss, they are truly independent contractors, they make some money have fun and with very little thought about it. A big plus for the straight guys they do not need to apply then work for a Gay Owned Studio. (Chaturbate is just an Adult site) The cam performers for the most part are in control of their public image and video's. Good luck getting most Chaturbate guys to come into a porn site and give up that sense (or illusion) of control. I know exactly 2 Chaturbate models in the past 2 years that entered porn at the San Diego studio I am most familiar with.
As for Broke Straight Boys I see several models who use Chaturbate but I am not sure who was on the Cam site before they shot for Broke Straight Boys Junior is the only one I can think of.

I am VERY resistant to change, as the people who know me from here and elsewhere can attest to. However I am slowly starting to see the light as Scott and now Dennis62 have said on their posts. And I also have a few friends who are very much into Chaturbate and tell me the same thing.
