What happend to HSBoys?

Agreed. Don't know what the plan was on improving but changes have made the site 1000 times worse. So many of the sites are gone. there are no updates. Makes me want to leave the whole Broke Straight Boys site

Hopefully you've already seen the other thread where Chuck is saying that some of the HSB sites are offline right now while they upgrade them for better video quality and to make them more tablet/iPhone friendly. They are in the process of adding them back on as they complete the upgrades. If you haven't caught that thread, here's the link:

I usually do not visit any of the bonus sites unless prompted by comments on the forum, but I do read the forum very carefully and want to make this observation.
First we were notified that great improvements were coming to HSBoys, with a major overhaul, which sounded exciting and got fans of that site psyched for the changes. Then members starting commenting that some of the sites were missing or not working leading to frustration. Chuck has been informing us in technical jargon of what is happening, and how they slowly are returning in a new and better format, but everyone is not a "forum freak" like me, and obviously some fans of HSBoys just logged on and have been very disappointed in the transition product they are seeing.
My point and question is couldn't the overhaul been worked on somehow off the site that we see, while we still had the old set-up, and once all the technical glitches had been worked then, then presented to the members as the new and improved site? That would have eliminated the frustration and the possible cancellations. It seems like this was presented to the members too early in the conversion process.

All of the feeds from AEBN are re-added. You may not be seeing all of the feeds since they were added on Friday, but you can logout of HSBoys, by pressing "logout" at the very top right of the page, then re-login and you should see all of the feeds on the video page or back in your favorites list. If you still dont see them or have an error. If you still don't see them or have any trouble, please send a support request.
AEBN updated their videos and format so we were forced to update AEBN when we made the switch from HSBoys/members to members.HSBoys this was not communicated to be when we went live, so this was the reason for the upgrade. The benefit is there will be more videos for each feed and updates regularly throughout the month with higher resolution and streaming. All links are working again with the new format, we will just be skinning the feeds to be more user-friendly to navigate starting Monday.

Chuck, my man, what is AEBN? I'm sure I'm not the only member who is not a computer or webpage expert, so what in plain English are you saying in the second paragraph?
All of the feeds we have had to upgrade the last few says are provided by the company AEBN otherwise known as Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network. They have been around since 2000 providing adult video on demand streaming services. Sorry I was not more clear.

All the HSBoys feeds should be working again. Our feed provider had some major issues because they were working on a new system when we switched over. I'm really sorry for any inconvenience. We are still one of the only gay porn sites which has updates 3x a week on Broke Straight Boys and daily updates on HSBoys plus our other bonus sites. We try to offer the most for the least amount. Thanks for your patience.
I am not very thrilled with the new format show sections of sites like Fratboys, Military or Fratmen! I used to be able to have a choice between google and Silverlight viewing and I always had clear and good quality videos. Now under the new format, when you click a section to view, the pictures are cloudy and of very poor quality. If the change was to be an improvement, then I say it didn't work. In all of the sites I mentioned, videos were blurring and sound distorted!

If you go to the video link you can find all the sites that used to be on HSBoys.... add them to your favorites so you can get to them more easy. However..... everytime I click on one of these and I try to go back to HSBoys it kicks me out and I have to log on Broke Straight Boys again.

Agreed if we just had what's there now it's GREAT. Some of the sites have more than the usual 4. Straight bait has 20 now.

I know. I was pleased to see that Straight Bait had so many more movies than the usual 4.

I posted this on another thread but would like to add a few more things. My problems are similiar to Ericthbods and I find when I finally get into HSBoys after entering my name and password each time that when I chose a site the "pop up block" shows up then knocks me out of that page. When I do get into a site I'm okay with some of new changes, but I can't back space to the main menu I have to re-enter HSBoys and blah blah. This happens each time and I'm frustated!!! I have always appreciated the fact that Broke Straight Boys has these extra bonus sites for us members and quite frankly it's 50% of the reason I'm still a member here. But these changes aren't an improvement to a site that wasn't broken in the first place. I apologize for being crass as it's not in my nature, but if half of the reason I'm still member here no longer makes me happy I found myself very sad thinking about the possibility of moving on. Lets face it to pay for porn these days is really silly, but I have found more then just a porn site here on Broke Straight Boys so if there's anything I can do on my part to fix my dilemna please let me know (remember I'm computer illiterate so make it simple) for me. 12 hours and not one response from anyone (Mark or Chuck). I find this very upsetting!! My membership isn't any more important then anyone elses, but I have been a continuous member for 4yrs and have slowly watched a lot of my formites leave in the last 9 months due to being disastified with mgmt. I have always defended you guys when others posted their negative thoughts and all I asked was for someone to please help me with the HSBoys problem and I get nothing? I hope you guys haven't made my decision to move on.
very sorry about that, I dont always check the forum. I highly suggest sending us a support ticket, I get an alert when they are flagged for me and I check them as quickly as I can. We just updated the AEBN feeds yesterday again as some web browsers were having some issues.
For those on Windows especially we updated the code, but here are the steps to check if this fixed your issue, so far we were able to fix 95% of those having issues with this change.
1. Please logout completely of HSBoys by pressing the "logout" link at the very top right of HSBoys page.
2. Delete your web browser cache and cookies. I highly recommend using www.Firefox.com or www.google.com/chrome web browsers which are completely free, more secure and use more standard internet formats.
3. login to members.HSBoys after you have deleted your cache/cookies and completely quit and restarted your browser and click on the feeds under the "videos" page. We are still working on the top 10 favorites code and its not working for everyone yet.
I truly hope this helps, if not please send a ticket. I will personally try my very best to find the unique situation you are having. We are still updating a lot of this code and wont be complete until next week I hope. It will be cleaner, more efficient and more browser/ navigation friendly since we have to work with each feed and their format is different, we are doing our best to find a standard for each feed link.
