Hey Broke Straight Boys family. Today is a sad day for me. Two of my friends that I went to school with, were boyfriend and girlfriend were T-boned by a drunk driver who ran a red light last night & were pronounced dead at the scene. Please be careful when you drive

My dear boy, Drake, my heart goes out to you. I will not deny that your post and those of others did bring tears to my eyes. My daughter's former boyfriend also died due to drunk driving. You said life was fragile and anything could happen at any time. Just a few days ago we were memorializing 9/11. Normal hard working people had arrived at work to put in a hard day's work. Little did they know that a plane was going to come crashing into their offices.

The God given gift we have as humans is the gift of memory. Cherish the memory you have of your friends and know that you were as important to them and they were to you.

I wish love and serenity upon you these days, Drake.
