Updates on Models

I hope it’s okay to post this. I was just wondering if Mark, Sha or Bryce had any updates on how the models are doing, if they’re in contact with them. I follow a few on twitter, and some are really active like Gage Owens, but some haven’t posted anything for months. I found John Henry’s Twitter (I know he hasn’t filmed any scenes in over a year) and noticed he stopped posting back in June, and had lost his job. Made me sad to see that. Jos Alvarez, James and Calhoun don’t seem to have any social media accounts under their stage names.

So, long story short, just wondering if there’s any news. Feeling very down about the state of ... everything currently. Hoping to hear some decent, if not good news, to cheer myself up. Or run the risk of making myself more depressed (yeah, real Debbie Downer, today)

First, I don't remember if I've properly welcomed you to the forum LilyWhite. This site and this forum are kind of in the doldrums right now. It is all understandable with our national pandemic and the closing down of the Atlanta studio while the new/old Miami area studio is ramping up production. You LilyWhite have posted subjects of interest to me in recent weeks. From my perspective this forum is of most interest to me when we discuss Broke Straight Boys, past, present and future. Political and social discussions are important and do have a place here, as well as pictures of cute boys, and bulging Speedos as well as commenting on the "summer reruns" of the more than a decade old, "College Dudes" scenes being run here on a daily basis.

But I most want to read peoples opinions of models and scenes and what they like about Broke Straight Boys as well as what they don't like. And I love it when people disagree with me too, as it makes for interesting discussions and debates. Almost all of my favorite models are somewhat controversial from Tank Shane, Mike Robbins, Jimmy Johnson, right up through recent guys like Ashton Taylor, Johnny Cox and of course Ethan Steel, who all represent the straighter type of Broke Straight Boys who are reluctant to bottom. But I love the debate as I love Broke Straight Boys

I am an older guy who does not use social media to follow models but I do have a twitter account just to see when someone tells me of what a model may have posted there. To my knowledge Damien Kyle was the first model to use social media to build a career that started here. So while I do not find this stuff on my own, I do love when members discuss posts by current or former models. But one more point, is when a model does not have a social media presence under their porn names, I respect them even more, as they apparently are just doing gay porn to make money and not to build a career out of doing it. But either way, I welcome this discussion as it is talking about Broke Straight Boys which has been my passion, my hobby and even my obsession for the past twelve years. To use a political analogy, let's make Broke Straight Boys and the Broke Straight Boys forum "great again"!

Welcome to the forum JSampiro. I am so pleased to see a post about models and scenes. It seems like so long ago........Ethan said that he willing to bottom both in his scene with Masyn Thorne and in his BTS shower talk with Mark. I would hope that Ethan would appear again. And while Masyn Thorne is gayer than I usually prefer in models here, he is extremely sexy and if he did get fucked hard on that other site, it would be hot to see Calhoun give it him hard here. But from what I've heard, Calhoun has become quite popular on other sites and with the new locale of filming now for Broke Straight Boys, I don't expect Calhoun back at least in the short run, but I would like to see him again too.

Seeing this post has reinforced for me how much I appreciate an outlet for all that's going on in our lives. Two months after LW's post we are still pretty much in the same place with Covid. If not worse off. (Yes. There is hope on the horizon with a vaccine.) But I still miss the days when I could see my friends in person. I miss being able to hug people.

I'm very happy that politically things are going in a better direction from my perspective.

Calhoun is rock n rolling and making comment all the time. Richie West cams on Chaturbate but said recently that he was retiring from porn. Ryan Parks had to have an appendectomy and it was around the same time Adam Baer had his. (I know that’s not positive news, but thought I’d let you know). James Dawn is creating content for his only fans, and his dream scene partner, JJ Smitts, is a chef, but I can’t remember where. Ryan Pitt is Bartending and Jake Spencer is doing lawn care/landscaping.

Paul Canon announced recently that he was retiring from porn but still does onlyfans as well as his brother, Alex.
Damien Kyle is still making content.
And Jimmy Johnson is a real estate agent in South Carolina. If I can think of more, I’ll share.
