Upcoming New Model James Andrews

All: Ive been a member of Broke Straight Boys for quite a while and have on occasion contributed to the forums etc.. Well on Feb.11 someone Im very close to, makes his debut on Broke Straight Boys Part of me is excited and part of me doesnt know quite what to think. I would ask all of you how you would feel if your son, daughter, brother, sister, or best friend suddenly decided to do porn. That 's the flood of emotion that has me consumed about his debut. Part of me wants him to be successful and part of me hopes he is one and done.. I have to be honest.

Speaking of honest, James Andrews is truly Str8 and truly broke. I have no idea what he is going to say in his intro or his solo but he I know his story and he is doing this for two reasons. First, yes he does like to entertain and show off. Its exciting to him to think that someone gets pleasure from seeing him naked. And second, JA has gotten himself into a bad situation financially over the past several months and truly needs the money to get his life straightened around.

I think JA will do well because he is genuine and sincere and has a smile and innocence (dont let him fool you) that I think the Broke Straight Boys audience will like. He has a heart of gold and just deserves and needs a couple of breaks to go his way in life.

I guess my worries are that since he is straight, Im not sure he is ready for some of the backlash that will come from his friends and family. I hope that works out ok. I also dont like that porn becomes permanent, once you make this decision it is part of you for the rest of your life. Im not sure he 100% understands that.

And I guess what worries me most is that 5% out there that has the wrong intentions. 95% of you are wonderful people who are appreciative and respectful. Ive seen that over my time here. However 5% seem to think that because a person does porn that somehow that the "star' somehow owes the audience something more. JA is a true Gay for Pay porn performer not an escort or prostitute. I hope the fans respect he, and all of the models, boundries, limitations, and privacy as they go through this chapter of their lives.

I think it highly inappropriate for you to reveal things about him which he might not reveal himself; unless, of course, you told him you were going to do this. If that were to be the case then this is just a publicity stunt to hopefully garner him high ratings which, too, I would consider inappropriate.

It would be a wonderful thing if All of the models were treated with the same respect, as if they were people that we know...etc. Are you prepared for that 5% of people's reactions? I am sure that you will be as supportive as you can be but, be prepared,..."It's the nature of the beast", as the saying goes.

Agree with Stowe. There is enough doubt in our minds of late regarding model information, so we don't need a 3rd party jumping in and trying to get a good tick in the box just because the 3rd party and the model are friends. The last sentence of the first post "I hope the fans respect he, and all of the models, boundries, limitations, and privacy as they go through this chapter of their lives.", rather contradicts the post IMHO.

Thanks Tyler for posting some background info about your friend. As I've been saying for a while, the current model pool has been pretty shallow, (to my way of thinking) and James intrigued me from the start, when I first saw this still a few days ago on the upcoming scenes. He looks like a typical young guy and I've been hopeful that he is an old school type of straight guy with zero experience with guys or at least performing naked for a gay audience. And your post Tyler helps build my fantasy.

If your post Tyler is a "publicity stunt" to help build audience anticipation for James, I say thank you. When each new scene is previewed on the site, I find myself scrolling to see what is coming up in hopes of a favorite of mine might be coming back, (like Ayden, Ronan Kennedy, Zander Floyd or Zak) or that there will be a cute enough, straight enough looking guy to fuel my fantasies, and now I am looking forward to James' solo. It's been so long since I've found an upcoming model or scene that captures my interest and James does that. And if he turns out to be a dud, so be it, but at least I have something to be hopeful about for the next four days. I witnessed the hyping of the Broke Straight Boys TV show for three years, so three or four days is no problem for me. I hope that James will "float my boat"

Hey Tyler,

Thanks for giving us the heads up about your friend. I think it's admirable that you would ask posters in the forum to be especially kind to him. Whether your motive is purely out of concern, or to hype and drive up anticipation of his debut...it matters to me not. I see your intentions as good and noble either way. I really do sense that you posted all this out of genuine concern for him and not wanting to see him get reviews that might be considered mean-spirited.

I appreciate knowing that he has gotten himself into a jam for which doing some scenes here can only help to lessen or alleviate altogether. With some models you get the sense that they still live at home, without great financial hardships, and just want the money for pocket change and expensive toys. Not that there's anything wrong with that. For me personally though I always feel better knowing the money a model is making in here is going to things that will really improve his life and relieve him of the stress of heavy debts, legal fees, etc. I also think it helps to put his straight bona-fides out there. It's nice from our standpoint to know he's really straight.

He does have the prototypical Broke Straight Boys-1 look for which the site is famous. He's the average guy next door whose body you come to appreciate and admire even more as you see him weekly mowing the lawn and doing yardwork. I think a lot of his success will depend on his personality also. I hope he can make a good connection with the audience. I want him to be successful.

Having read your post Tyler, I am already more intrigued and interested in watching his scenes than I was before. So you've already been successful on that point. While I can't speak for others with any certainty, I do suspect that many others in here will feel the same uptick in anticipation that I do. And yes. Come what may, I'll be kind to "James".

Tyler, you've been around since 2010, so you know exactly how this forum works and also of the drama that has ensued over those 4 years. My reaction isn't really negative, it's just that I think this thread is unnecessary and your revelation could have waiting a few weeks. Again just saying.

Well I've just watched the introduction to JA and, considering Tyler25il said he was close to him, JA mentioned that they only person who knew he was coming on this site was his g/f. Of course Tyler25il could be his gf. JA seemed a bit strange to me, his eyes appeared very red...

I was anxious to see the new guy and quite frankly I was disappointed, but we will see more tonight in his solo and then on Saturday with the new gay boy Trevor. From this still it looks like it might be hot and if James does turn out to come across as a true straightie, perhaps having a openly gay model like Trevor will prove effective for the site.

I really would love to be able to look forward to and to enjoy the new scenes like I used to.
