Upcoming BTS - Getting To Know Rick Hazard

I always check the next upcoming scene before even checking out the newest release, and I saw his pic, and thought okay, nothing to get really excited about, but I just read the scene description,

"Date: Aug 8, 2017 at 10pm EST
This 2 part behind the scenes video will give you a closer look not only at our newbie Rick Hazard, but also at some real issues in the porn industry. See what unfolds as we get to know Rick!"

Now I am totally intrigued as it sounds like Sha and this new model to Broke Straight Boys will be discussing some of the things that I've read elsewhere about the state of the internet porn industry today. I am most interested in what will be discussed.

I didn't think it was any great secret, but the basics are several factors.

One is that many smaller sites are being taken over by a big conglomerate who not only own the sites, but also the "tube" sites so they own the content and the place to give viewers teasers of the sites, which makes things difficult on independent company like Mark and his BluMedia sites, and my understanding is that sites like Broke Straight Boys have tighter budgets and cannot pay models the same fees as they did at one time.

Second is that models can now do their own shows on home cam sites and also film stuff and sell monthly subscriptions through an intermediate company and advertise through their social media platforms. They can make more money doing it at home doing scenes with partners or solos of their own choosing.

And also it is a lot more difficult to attract the straighter guys than it was in the early 2000's when Broke Straight Boys was in it's classic early stages, as a straight identifying guy living in "small town USA" knows now that if he flies to a studio under a stage name, it will still get back home to family and friends, usually fairly quickly through the internet that the "straight" kid in town is now sucking dick and getting fucked for the world to see.

Therefore with a shrinking pool of potential models and a shrinking economy, and more opportunities for guys into this kind of work besides sites like Broke Straight Boys, it makes it more difficult to attract the highest quality fresh faces, and a need arises to sometimes hire what some may consider "second tier" models who may be a bit older, and who've appeared on other sites before Broke Straight Boys

Note to Mark, Sha, Bryce and Chuck. I am only speaking through what I've read and heard. I am just a big fan of Broke Straight Boys and try to gather what I can, and I may be completely wrong, and if so I apologize in advance, but Oldfart asked what I knew, and I "spilled the beans" of what could be incorrect knowledge. But as long as we have the forum, and I love to post, I said what I did. I am most interested to see this two part BTS coming up next week to hear what Sha has to tell us from the inside of the industry as opposed to my fan rantings. lol

He's not the only newbie to set off my gaydar as well Johnny, but we shall wait and see and then decide!

And if some of them are gay, they won't be the first or the last! I accept Broke Straight Boys-2017 for what it is! I have my favorite types, but it is a great big world out there and we all have our own types that turn us on!

I think you are spot on with your analysis. Ive pretty much heard the same and I believe it probably is harder to get straight guys these days although I don't think it's quite the stigma it used to be to be bi curious. A few other sites that focus on straight guys go for a little older more masculine guys. In a few cases Broke Straight Boys has gone a little older and it wouldn't bother me if a hot straight guy that wasn't 18 came on board. I think peer pressure is at its height in high school and college. The models who have come back after growing up a bit, Dakota, Vadim Black, Romeo, Ronan Kennedy have only gotten hotter. After a guy is out of school and that ultra social competitive environment they may not be so worried if classmates find out they sucked some dick. They may have also found out it's not quite so easy to find a good job and pay the bills.
