No need to apologize AsI. By community chat, I presume you mean General Chat, which is non membership site related, e.g. congratulating Phil Mickelson on winning the British Open.

Your thread and post is site related in that you talk about Broke Straight Boys, the site; its models and its linked sites. Even your mention of DTLA can be considered site related since you mention a previous Broke Straight Boys model, and the show DTLA has as one of its producers the owner of Broke Straight Boys But even if you were tlo consider that not site related, it is a small thing and that type of thing is done frequently by almost all posters at one time or the other.

Thank you my friend for mentioning Jimmy's appearances on DTLA, but Mark alerted us in advance that Mark was involved in the show and that one of our Broke Straight Boys'ers was going to appear, and much to the shock and dismay of many of the more sensitive forumites, it was the man they love to hate as if he was a WWF villain.

While Jimmy is not the hottest guy to ever appear on Broke Straight Boys in my opinion, he was very sexy, but I believe that his best attribute was he was very real, And I believe that what he said about his sexuality was what he truly believed at that time. To my sensibilities, Jimmy's being the exact same person in his scenes, in his many BTS of his appearances in gay pride events and his posts on the forum made me see the consistency in his persona which I appreciate, because I really cannot stand phonies.

And it's interesting that Jimmy was the model who Mark turned to for the television role, despite the rumors that Mark was pissed at him, because he would do no more in his scenes with his year long contract. But like the guy said in the BTS LA a few days ago, "Why do they try to turn the straight boys into bottoms? We have enough bottoms".

I stand by my comments 1000%, and feel no need to erase anything I've said about him, and as we've seen links to him on many other sites, still not compromising his standards of what he will do and will not do, and obviously still making money doing it, so it is obvious to me that the membership on this site has different standards of what they enjoy in the genre of straight guys having gay sex, than what many people such as myself enjoy throughout the internet world of porn.

Very different strokes for different folks.
 
I appreciate the fact he stood by own principles and I respect him for that. But I wasn't a fan of his, looks or personality!!
 
I agree with Mikeyank on this issue 100%. Jimmy was one of those people who people seemed to love or hate. I loved him. He was exactly what he was and had no apologies for that. I have known other straight guys who did gay sex and while they had no issues with doing what they did, they had limits to what they would and would not do. I am still friends with some young men exactly like Jimmy in that fashion.

There is nothing that bores me more than a porn site of video that attempts to pass off someone who is obviously gay as a straight guy. There is nothing that amuses me more in terms of my cynical sense of humor than people who expect straight guys to act like gay guys in a video because they are being paid to have gay sex. My experience has been that everyone has their limits and for some people those limits are pretty broad and for others they are not.
 
JJ was just paid way too much money and given too many scenes for what he was willing to offer. Which of course wasn't much at all. He should have had maybe 6 scenes, tops. And then been cut loose.

Tampa, you and I have often butted heads on the JJ issue, and I've asked you this question before. How do you know how much Jimmy was paid for his scenes, and if it was any different than his fellow models at that time? You've commented frequently about Jimmy's lucrative contract and I wonder where you got this information.

Also it is obviously merely your opinion that "He should have had maybe 6 scenes, tops". I just checked and I see it was Jimmy's Scene #11 with Jason, which is a classic scene to me. Jason later claimed on the forum that he didn't like working with Jimmy, but his dick told a different story, and the two of them made an extraordinarily hot pairing of an aggressive top and a submissive bottom. I thought both models were terrific and had Jimmy's career ended after six scenes, we never would have seen this masterpiece.

LOL I don't know an amount. I have no inside scoop on his W-2's. I don't work for the IRS or the NSA. :001_tongue:

Now I know that no other model in Broke Straight Boys history has done 27 scenes in only one year. That may beat the record for the number of scenes for any College Dudes model in a single year also. Jimmy also did several events for which he got paid a certain amount per day. If the $50K number is to be believed, then that's the minimum JJ got paid. He also got the acting gig on the TV show for which he got paid something. So between 27 videos, several Pride events and the TV show, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that JJ probably got paid north of $50K. (Possibly well north of that) Plus he got "freebies" like paid expenses for airfare, travel, food, lodging, etc.
