Tyler/Vadim

As you are commenting on this thread and not the Paul & Damien thread, does this mean that you've become the new director here, Damian?
Sitting in for Johnny while he is sick. I'll be filling in from time to time until his return. With the P and D thread, lets save that until tomorrow during business hours, lol. Haven't read that one yet, so don't know what all it entails.

I'm sorry to hear that Johnny is still sick, as you mentioned it being mid-July during the Ian/Zeno Kostas scene and that he is still sick now, it is apparently more than just a summer cold. And so my best wishes and prayers go out to Johnny for a speedy and complete recovery.

And as far as your response to the "P and D thread", I can promise you that upon my arrival home tonight from work, that will be the first thing that I look at here, as that thread seems to be occupying my thoughts more than any other at this time. I look forward to reading your comments.

As it appears that Johnny is sick with something more serious than something like a simple bad cold or flu bug, I also wish him all the best for a speedy recovery.

It is now 1908 which means 1408 in NYC. They don't have to tell us anything as per Vicekid and Stowie.

Sorry to hear about Johnny. Please let him know I am sending him good thoughts.:thumbup1: Like I always say, if you can't feel better, just keep feeling...it will cum to you!

I am disappointed that DC still has no comment, and I brought these quotes over to the Damien and Paul thread. I always find it curious how management here will selectively comment on threads and answer direct questions. It is their right as management, but I feel it is also my right as a member of their forum to question their methods and motives.

but I feel it is also my right as a member of their forum to question their methods and motives.

Not always the case Mike. Put yourself back where you work and what would happen if you constantly questioned your companies methods and motives. You would probably get fired. Just saying.

I see it differently Jon. At my job, "they pay me", and I need to follow their rules to stay employed, while on the forum, "I pay them" and I feel the right to question things as I please, and they have the right to either answer or not answer my questions.

Yes your wise head works again. I guess in this case we are Broke Straight Boys shareholders so to speak and I guess my statement would refer to the models questioning management rather than the forum. Saying that of course, if I had been subject to many gross missconducts then I would be fired.

I would agree with both of you in the case of an employee/employer case. Don't follow the rules, you are subject to disciplinary action up to and including termination.

I would disagree with Mike (which is hard to do from one Brooklynite to another) on the consumer/company. You and I and all of us choose to consume any given product form any given business. We can have certain expectations. We have a right to express our concerns with that business. However, the business has the right to determine what, when where and how to respond, including non-responding. They will evaluate the comments and see if it needs addressing and how/when to do it. They need to look at potential legal implications in any response. They need to evaluate what impact a response or non-response will have for them.

Going back to my airline example, no one that I am aware of likes to pay extra for luggage. The industry hear it loud and clear. How many responded to all those quires? After the first one did it, there may have been some flyers who choose to fly another carrier. That would be the consumers right. When all of them did it, we still have a right NOT to FLY or go Southwest. AS a former Department Manager, I heard all types of complaints from customers, some really weird and rare to issues related to signs and coupons to policies. Some were forwarded to managements for their attention. Some were address, some were not. It becomes a risk management as to what to do. Do we lose some customers. YES! We can't please 100% of our clients 100%of the time. Why? Some of the demands are totally off the wall and pointless. It would not be good business practice. The same applies here. Management can here our concerns, very strong concerns, but they have no obligation to directly respond. I say directly respond, as they may in their internal evaluation might follow-up in some way to what they heard here. We will find out only when we see that change. The example in this case would be if (hopefully, my comment) or when Paul and Damian are UN-banned. I respect Mark for the tight hi-wire act he must follow. I trust him to do what is right in the BIG picture for Blue Media. If the outcome here or for the above examples does not please us, no one is forcing us to continue to consume the products. Mike, I am not suggesting that you leave. I know you too well to do that, but in the big picture of Risk Management these considerations are part of their thinking. Yes we may lose some and that is the price they are willing to pay. (another example: going Bareback) And when you get right down to it, is their truly an overall better site that this?

Love you still Mike (you too Jon).

Live Long and Prosper,

Vicekid

Once you allow yourself to identify with the people in a story or situation, then you might begin to see yourself in that story even if on the surface it's far removed from your situation. This is what is awesome about this forum: this is one great thing that internet communication can do - it can make us identify with situations and people far away.

We don't respond to every situation because, not only are their two sides to every story, but there may be an entire part of the story that you may not be aware of. Like I said in an earlier thread, be cautious about rumors or gossip that you hear on the forums -- especially when it comes from the models. Someone may have started something just to get a heated discussion going or used the forums for their own personal gains.

Our company, even though it is porn, is built on strong business ethics. If someone doesn't follow protocol then appropriate action must be taken and sometimes that means in private. For example, Apple has shareholders that have been demanding news on the I-Watch for years now and Apple has kept quiet on the subject because it could interfere with their business. We're no Apple, but the principle is the same. Now you know that Damian and Paul are still with us and shooting scenes (again they never left), but we can't give in to every whisper of sedition that we see on the forums. You're right in that you pay us, and you pay us to produce the best porn we can, but drama seen on here is counterproductive and gives the forums a negative vibe. Our passion and energy goes into creating great scenes and offering a welcoming environment to discuss the positive, and sometimes negative, aspects of our scenes and to allow us to evolve our product into the best that it can be.

You will see more of how we do things in the show and it will make sense. Right now, our forum members only see a small part of it. Imagine standing flush against a picture on the wall in the Louvre. What do you see?. Tiny spots, color, and some texture. Stand back a few feet and you realize it's the Mona Lisa.

You do make valid points here Damian, which explains the "mini controversy" a bit more fully here than you did on the other Damien and Paul thread. And as I've said repeatedly, I do appreciate the freedom that Mark has always given us in the past, and hopefully into the future too, to make this forum "our own", to discuss what we want and how we want to discuss it, (within reason), and as I've also said many times in the past, while the whole purpose of this site is to produce quality porn, the forum has taken on a life of it's own for me and some others, and is quite frankly more important to me than the actual porn, but that's just "weird little old me".

I agree with Mikey regarding the forum however, I also appreciate your last post DC. You cannot allow over excited (being kind) models to start unfounded or unprofessional rumours within the forum and that is why the decision to suspend Damien Kyle and Paul was correct. Nice to see that they are back filming.

Back to Mike's statement. I sometimes go 2 weeks without watching a scene if the models are not my type or, as what is happening currently, I am getting same model overkill.

in an earlier post I said I thought this episode was awesome. tyler and Vadim Black worked well together. a great first-time!

on this Damien and paul matter, it is never ok to trash another employee in an open venue. it is not legally permissible to discuss matters covered by a settlement agreement. to discuss the details would breach the agreement. it was not right to bring to the forum assertions made by the other site, in tweets. it was wrong to link other modeling work with porn work.
david trashed a former model and attacked another site. he used half-truths and made legally unprovable statements. (knew the inside facts). anyways, he was banned.
not too much information, but incomplete and incorrect information, and office politics not appropriate for public discussion.
trashing can get you banned!

That's awesome. Mark is the nicest guy you will or have ever met. This is a great community that he has helped create. I'll admit, i like it and responding to members questions. Reminds me of the old AOL chat rooms.

Working on that right now. You will see some cool changes coming very soon. I hope we can exceed your expectations. There are a few cute, new, young guys at the house right now. Pics and introductions coming soon.

I agree bud. Hope all is well and can't wait to see you again!

I honestly think it was the best video i have seen on the site. If Tyler started a cult id be the first one to join.
Glad you liked it. When I watch porn, I want to see some serious passion and all I will say is that filming that scene was amazing. Two great guys with old school porn star potential.

Very much with you on that! However, I will ad..."Real or Real looking" passion. There obviously has to be that "thing", whatever and however people choose to characterize it.....many call it "chemistry". I stay away from that description myself. Only the models themselves (or someone in the room during the filming) can determine if that is what it is (IMHO).
