Hey Everyone,
I realize that some of us in here are new to the forum and some of us have been around for a while. I just wanted to point out as someone has already alluded to that we have no less than 4 different threads for the latest Anthony/Colin scene. I'm just a member like everyone else and everyone is free to do what they like in here. The "but" is that it's just not necessary to create a whole new thread just to share one post with everyone. The forum police are not going to write you a citation. But seriously... Four threads??
The more threads created on the same topic the less likely you are to get responses anyway. People don't have time to go through bunches of threads and comment in several different places. Of course it's always nicest if a scene in question has only one thread. It's convenient for everyone. And that's especially true for the models themselves who want to read the reviews. They know even less on how to navigate the board than we do.
There are some situations where somebody will start a thread with a title that raves about how great the model/scene was. If someone has a differing view then they might not want to post on that thread and then they start another thread. And of course the opposite is true too. If someone creates a thread with a title that pans the scene and/or the model(s), then someone who really likes the scene may not want to post on that thread. So speaking for myself only, the titles we give for a scene or a model ought to be rather generic. And then we can save the praise or critiques for the opening post.
It's also true that late at night after the new scene airs at midnight EST that sometimes people will start threads within minutes of each other (unaware that someone else is doing one simultaneously) and we accidentally end up with more than one. And that's just an accident. I tend to have more time than other people in here and would love to comment on the Colin/Anthony scene. But even I feel like throwing up my hands and not commenting on the scene because the responses are scattered all over the place.
Just my two cents.
