Just another one of your keen observations and highly perceptive parings of decidedly masculine beauties-Kevin and Ty. I for one think you deserve a promotion and commendation ordered by the Feldmarschall German Helmethead.

The thought of Ty and Kevin together makes my toes curl, the pre-cum starts leaking, and my balls start churning as if they were some noisy coffee maker about to spew forth. This kind of creative thinking in model selection could restore members faith in future futon castings for the new Broke Straight Boys models. After all not all newbies have to still be "wet behind the ears" and limited to 18 yrs old. In fact it is precisely those slightly older guys in their early 20's that, having a little more maturity, offer the most promise and, therefore, biggest bang to the buck (no pun intended, although nice enough when considered as a pun).

Finally, I think we all could do without the discussion of "MONEY". Being gay, most of us have seen Liza Minnelli in "Cabaret" performing "Money makes the world go around" :

and we get it! We are all big boys and girls now and we accept that the models appear only after signing a contract with Broke Straight Boys first. Any reference to money, fake or otherwise, detracts from the scene and the likelihood of any true passion happening. I'd rather see kissing any day than $$$$$ any time, even if using the dollars as an added incentive. Kissing is best appreciated when happening spontaneously and as a natural progression of two sweaty bodies cuming together in true passion.

I have been watching the College Dudes scenes and have been trying to figure out what's wrong with them. They are beautiful guys who kiss, suck, fuck, rim etc. etc. but something is wrong. Then it hit me. All, well most, of the scenes are exactly alike, there's no real individuality. And that's because mostly nobody talks to the models. The rather lame conversation bits on Broke Straight Boys at least open a small window into their personalities, and even AssLickBoys that I'd never thought i'd like has a bit of conversation at the beginning. The kissing, sucking, fucking there is not so bad.

Although I like David a lot, I wonder if doing the cutesy negotiation thing over what the newbies will do is boring him. I think many of the Broke Straight Boys long term watchers miss that, so maybe someone new has to do that.

And back to my suck off competition suggestion. One round can be newbies, and one round can be of experienced suckers.

Exactly, WW. If you go back through the last few years of our dialog here on the forum about the models - a good portion of it has been about them and not about their 'equipment.' Oh, we do talk dick talk sometimes, but we usually talk about their attitudes, their motives, their charm, their involvement - things we learn from those telling moments of conversation. We spend more time talking about the messages in their tattoos that we do about their foreskins. (Oh, I know, we spent a while on the odd shaped glans, but we came to regret it and even begged that he be asked back after we begged that he be sent away! But the deciding factor in the change of heart was his personality and not the unusual shape of his penis.) Some members even kept track of who went to school with who and who was friends with who and when slip-ups were made in the banter brought it to everyone's attention immediately. Remember Logan's college friend and his friend's friend and how confusing that all got?

What I'm saying is, a good portion of the value of the fantasy was the information leading up to the scene. If the information was there it enabled the members to build some extraordinary fantasies around the models.

As Adam and I got personally acquainted with many of the models away from Broke Straight Boys, it became quite a challenge to equate what many members fantasized about them with the reality. I used to be an absolute asshole about it and probably made more enemies that I care to imagine by not keeping by mouth shut. I came to realize that creating the fantasy was the art of Broke Straight Boys and regardless of the number of members who thought it was 'just porn for Christ's sake,' it was the art that made a special niche for Broke Straight Boys in the video world. College Dudes has a niche, too, and so does JustUsBoys and all the others. The niche for Broke Straight Boys just happens to be a little more narrow than the others. The mistake, I believe, came when the initial phenomenal growth as those interested discovered it was misinterpreted as a continuing curve. To continue that growth curve it was marketed to the College Dudes and JustUsBoys crowd and when they came and complained because it wasn't the slick, anonymous, glossy stuff they wanted - it was pushed into HD - the output was doubled and a bigger backlog of rejects was created - all that happened was the creation of a larger group of dissatisfied members.

It had strayed from its niche and was spending far too much money on product for an audience it really didn't want to attract. Can you imagine the profits if we went back two years when the quality was at its peak and the time from film to view was less than three months and everything was shown in order and there was nearly no waste - and the membership was stable - without the $1 for three days turnover - and, most of all, none of this constant complaining about what I paid my money for?

Mind you this is all supposition. I'm just guessing - just filling in the blanks - just hypothesizing. But look at College Boy Physicals - it hasn't strayed an inch from it's original format and still produces quality product for a very narrow niche. It's still profitable and still cranking it out. What's been the loss on BrokeCollegeBoys? Never given the chance to grow. It started with a huge overhead and no niche.

I know the pride events were great fun - but, figuring the hotels, airline tickets, set up and take down costs, handouts, flyers, salaries - how much could they possibly have brought in in new memberships? I think Blu saw that when they added JustUsBoys and now College Dudes to the mix at pride - these are the sites that are attractive to the bar crowd.

Oh, well, I've rambled on for way too long. It's been a long weekend. I've been agreed with (which is unusual), laughed at and mocked (which is not unusual) and ignored (which is very usual). I'm through talking for a long time now. I wouldn't count on anything being the same around here. I think Blu has made up his mind and the new graphics are going to be splendid and the new models are going to be right out of the catalog and so will all the action and dialog.

Your radar is working wunderbar and you have once again zeroed in on the target. What a delightful panzer boy you are and a credit to your unit! If only we were at sea, one could yell out:

With respect to College Boy Physicals, whilst the concept hasn't changed much, there has been subtle changes like the sperm sample episodes and also episodes such as Jacob and Justin where the doctors have been too busy so they've left the models alone to investigate each other. Also there have been quite a few members of staff changes in the past few years too - so in fact they are keeping with the times.

Broke Straight Boys on the other hand, continues with the same film format: chat with guys, discuss finance, undies and socks off, str8, gay or bi porn question, then either a jerk off or a normal fuck session. What happened to the adventures into the shopping mall, the field episodes and more recently (but as a bonus) the hotel fuck. Maybe it's this variation that the members are missing.

I have to agree these variations were most welcomed by me too. I especially loved Scott and Leon having their early morning hotel fuck. It was among the best episodes I have seen on Broke Straight Boys Truly a classic of classics.
