...But finally on April 1, 2011, Broke Straight Boys-2 was rolled out with Jimmy on a beach, walking across the bridge and then brought into the new Broke Straight Boys studio. We later discovered the new director was Clay, although it took a long time to learn his name too. Anyway, Jimmy did get an exclusive contract and remained on Broke Straight Boys for one year. Johnny Forza is the only other model, who I believe it was acknowledged by management to receive an exclusive contrat as well. I don't know if they still give them out, but if they do, I believe that Tanner Valentino should receive one.

I could blather on all day on the history of Broke Straight Boys, but unfortunately I must now leave for work. lol

Thanks for the correct, thorough, historical data. In my head I placed J.J. way back to the beginning. I guess because he'd come up on an earlier thread so I went to look at him out of sequence as I poured through the BSB1 segments (which I've yet to complete!).

The issue of exclusivity is rare and that is understandable. And yet, I like to believe that each of the models has other jobs and they enter the g4p realm only as they need cash that their general job does not deliver. I know, I buy or bought into that fantasy. It works for me and that is why I don't care of a model is admitted bi or gay because they are still doing it for the money. When their friends or relatives ask why or how they can "do it" - the cash is logical permission ticket.

On one of the other notes: I personally believe that David shot some really good material and he was sneaky and convincing in getting those early guys to believably stretch their announced limits. I really enjoy the work he did while at Broke Straight Boys Creative!

I believe that explains why the pink bird gets some of the guys simultaneous to the scenes released here and I, for one, believe those boys are just "takin care of business" to get their rent paid on time and keep their car payment current (say nothing of the costly insurance for guys under 25!!) It spains a lot.

Part of the fun here for me, and apparently for you too Ertas is to believe what we choose to about the models. I've often described this site, (more in the older days than in the present), as a fantasy site set in a reality format. We can all believe what we like as we fantasize about our favorite models.

just to be a pain. it was Saturday night, april 2nd, 2011! it was the first episode for Broke Straight Boys-2 to be released. it was also the 7th scene made with jimmy. I found it interesting that the jimmy's solo was produced on march 5th and Jamie's solo was produced on February 10. the crossing the bridge scene was staged. it was almost like an afterthought. a solo, then the anal scenes. the sense of progression was lost.
david returned in may ready to start producing his next six months content. funny thing happened on his first day back. his contract was terminated. the final content was not the bottom of the barrel. it was the end of the trip. the final scenes from star trek would hardly be called what was left of a canceled show. coming at the end of the line is sometimes less about quality and more about order. like z and 9!

As someone who's been here "forever", I remember very vividly all the controversy when Mark first announced the introduction of bareback scenes to Broke Straight Boys Almost every thread on the forum was on that subject, some pro, mostly con and finally Mark had to limit the discussion to one thread. Some members threatened to quit the site over bareback and some did.

Now we get an occasional condom scene and many people are unhappy. We've come a long way baby and I'm not sure it's for the better, but it is the way it is in the porn business in September 2015. I agree the scenes are "hotter" for us without the rubbers, but I still have a tingle of doubt in my mind about what is best for the young guys who get paid to entertain us. Oh well. It is what it is, but I still wonder.....

I too sometimes wonder! I was one of those considered leaving. I stayed because mark said there would be a balance between condom and bareback scenes. now condoms are as rare as a two-headed snake.

That is some interesting information another1. I never realized that "Introducing Jimmy" was produced after six other Jimmy scenes, and I didn't know that Tyler had an exclusive contract. I just assumed that he was loyal to David and Eddie and didn't even consider leaving at that point.

I do beg to differ with you on one point another1, when you said:

David was posting here after his initial termination, before he was "banned" and there was never any indication that he was re-hired. I also belong to another forum, (which I invited you to join, and you respectfully declined). David Adamson occasionally participates there as well, and when the subject of Broke Straight Boys is addressed, he never mentioned any re-hiring.

But for all your other points, I say thank you to our "keeper of the records"!

He appeared in 40 scenes as a model, and later joined David and Eddie in production of Broke Straight Boys scenes.

If Ertas or anyone else is new to Tyler, I suggest you start with his earliest scenes, (starting with David "finding" him at the car show). The progression of Tyler Evans is done in the classic Broke Straight Boys way as it was like a mini soap opera for me as each time he returned to the futon, we learned what he was willing to do that week. There were other stars at the same time like Dustin, Austin, CJ and others, but Tyler was far and away my favorite from my early days on the site. I had a big crush on young Tyler!

Oh, THAT Tyler!!! Yeah, I fell for him right away. He is the one who says in maybe his 6th or 7th scene, "Yeah, I'm pretty much gay now!" Didn't bother me a bit cuz he was absolutely the most uninhibited of the models and I took in every one of his scenes - top and bottom.

mike, the way I understood it, david's plan was to tape from june, 2010 until September, 2010. being fired in may changed that. the 78 episodes would have carried Broke Straight Boys until September, 2011. during the period between sept, 2010 and sept, 2011, he planned to work on straight rent boys/gay rent boys.
he planned to start taping after he returned to the studio in may! I am sure he said that in his many post.
even now I am called to join the real world. I spend too much time here. there are only so many hours in a day. two boards could lead to separation.

I've been around for awhile also and the majority of the big posters say the same crap on every thread (no names)lol The actual new stories and/or new conversations only equal to about 10 really... lolololololol you boys know I tease.....
