Broke Straight Boys tweeted on 1/25 that we should get ready for the return of "Straight" Talk (quotes added by me). You'll recall that BTS where the models tell us how they are straight, i.e. love pussy, have girlfriends, and how hard it is for them to do this. Well, the picture accompanying that tweet shows a few of the models whom many of us have questioned their straight bona fides. And a few models who appear to be new - can't really tell because pix is small and not too clear. Well it will be interesting to hear what some of these guys have to say. Should get the forum a little busier than it has been of late.

the guys are:
sha with tanner, brandon, danny, tyler, jesse, levi, and jason sitting on the floor.

Thanks, another. A few look different than their model page pix; but after your id'ing them, I could finally see the resemblance. Who is levi?

I agree Stowe. I already have a problem with most of that group proclaiming their "straightness". :001_rolleyes: But we shall see.

I don't recognize some of those names are they new models coming up yet to be introduced?
Levi is the only one not yet seen here Billy. All the rest have videos already shown. Go to "episodes" or search by model by going to "the boys" on top of the site and you will find them.

By the way, a friend of mine said that Mark should give me a free membership as ambassador and forum guide here for all these years. Sounds like a plan to me. How about to you Mark???? :001_unsure: lol

Hm... should be interesting. Hope a few of them are good actors.

What ever do you mean Scott?? haha

Actually I'm looking forward to it. Straight Talk didn't always dwell strictly on the straightness of the model. Lord knows we have plenty more openly gay model models now than we have in the past. lol But the BTS vids and Straight Talk also allowed them to share some personal and semi-personal things going on in their own lives. It allowed the audience to feel a deeper personal connection to them as human beings, rather than just stick figure performers on our screens.

Several weeks ago some of us tried to make the point to the powers that be, that while we very much appreciate that they try to give us an introductory video of each new model, (such as a "Getting to Know Model X"), that that was not really enough to hold the audience's affection and attention for a particular model over the long haul. We tried to make the point, (politely and articulately I hope), that if the porn videos themselves start off with a minimum of discussion, and give us no new insights into the model as a person...and without any other updated interview or online discussion from the model himself...then the site starts to lose some of the trademark Broke Straight Boys reality feel.

I see the return of Straight Talk as a response to some of that concern. I suspect we'll see less of the models trying to present themselves as straight and perhaps more discussion of their own feelings and opinions regarding doing the work, being in the industry at a young age, etc. Maybe they'll talk about regular jobs away from the studio, their plans for school, if any...as well as some of their hopes, dreams and aspirations for the future. Hopefully in the newer Straight Talk they will share things abut themselves that allow us to feel a deeper human connection to them and give us more insights into their personalities. :)

That's what I would like to see. Just skip the force-feeding "I'm straight, really I AM!" BS and talk about their lives, their aspirations, families, etc. Do they have "regular" jobs? Do their friends and family know what they do at Broke Straight Boys and how did they react? Where do they hope to be in 5 years? What brought them into porn in the first place. I want to feel I KNOW the boys a little bit, and not just be TOLD "I'm really straight but I need money so now I'm going to suck a dick!" Blah! That's a lot of crap. Tells me nothing about them. That was the charm of the early days -- you felt you KNEW the guys and they weren't just sex objects. No the early days weren't slick and there was no set, but the simplicity was the charm. A couple guys on the futon who you got to know a little bit and then they did their thing, whether it was just a jerk off scene, or blow job scene, or more. I felt as though these were kids from real life who could be my neighbor, the kid stocking shelves at the grocery store, or the guy riding past the house on his bike, or whatever. I knew them and I cared about them. That's what's missing these days and what they need to get back to. The guys now -- as attractive and nice as they may be -- don't feel like guys from the real world, they feel like porn actors. To me that's the difference that I hope someone takes to heart and tries to do something about.

It's hard to figure out what "straight" means around here anymore...just saying.

I agree Scott that the boys of Broke Straight Boys-1 on David's futon were a different era, and it's provably impossible to put the genie back in the bottle and so I accept the boys of 2016 for who and what they are, but perhaps we will see something more real appearing than I feel we are currently getting. I will keep an open mind.

Not interested in this. Truthfully, I have not watched a scene since November. I really don't care anymore who's str8, bi, rich or broke.

I feel we are getting nothing from the boys now.
Half ass porn scenes. But do we know or care anything about the boy's? Unless we see it on twitter there is no personal feelings about the boys.
I love Tanner but still have not got to know him at all.I always felt I new and cared about the boys
till now. How can you care about someone you know nothing about? I accept the boys of 2016 for who and what they are.But who amd what are they?
As long as we don't have to Liston to a bunch of bullshit about there being straight.lol
I think it will be fun to hear the boys talk. And they did pick a good group but for Gage Owens and Zander Floyd.
And that new kid looks good.So looking forward to it.

Haven't you watched the twins or Abram or the new kids Jesse, Tyler and Brandon? There are some fun kids to watch here Louis in my opinion.

When does the new Straight Talk start? Where do I find it? This may be a duplicate post sorry if it is.
This is the right place to ask Billy, as this is the thread about the "upcoming" behind the scenes. They haven't told us yet when we will see it, but they usually release the Behind The Scenes, aka BTS on Saturday's, so my guess is maybe Saturday February 6th, as they already have one scheduled for this week with the twins and Jesse.

When I see they put it up as an upcoming scene, I will go back to this thread and mention the date in case you've missed it.
