I watched this today and I have to say I learned quite a bit about Spencer. First of all he is from my neck f the woods since I live in San Francisco and have all my live except when my father was stationed overseas in various places while in the Navy. I also learned that Spencer is more than just a handsome face. He is a thoughtful young man, careful & courteous in his speech and displays a depth of thought that frankly I find delightful. He reminds me of a number of young men I have represented in that he comes from a rougher background and has strove hard to rise above and learn from the negative portions of that experience. I would be delighted to meet him face to face and even introduce him to some friends of mine who have had similar experiences and have gone on to greater things.
This is one of the things I have found wonderful about this website. We have had the opportunity to get to know the young men [at least some of them] who model here as something other than simply a pretty face. It is that depth of involvement which has given me a deeper understanding into the different models who have chosen to share some aspects of their lives with us. I do know that initially a lot of people felt that Spenser was homophobic when he first appeared here. I can understand how they might feel that way but I believe that after watching this interview they understand the complexity of the feelings that Spencer was dealing with at the time and how what they were seeing expressed was not homophobia but instead a young man trying to adapt and handle a situation which he had never had any experience with.
I do not know if Spencer will be reading the comments I or others might post concerning his BTS interview but if he does I want to tell him that I appreciate his sharing with us something about him. I wish him all the best in his future and frankly I hope we see more of him here since I think he is a handsome man and good at what he does in the studio. And should he decide to communicate further with us as Damien, Paul, Ian and others have done I look forward to that as well. Finally, his girlfriend is one lucky young lady.
