I was visiting my sister and mother in kansas city and I found them stranded they told me they did porn and for awhile I thought it was str8 porn but then they told me a little more about it over time and how they made great money hahaha and I needed it bad that day. Ive never thought of being with a guy before. I have gay friends and I just thought to myself if they can do I guess I could try plus I think I big reason I did it is cause I used to be the one to bully in school calling them fags and everything and I lost a really good friend cause of that after I found out he was bi and it bothered him and so doing work with Broke Straight Boys helped me understand that he and other gay or bi guys are just the same as a guy and a girl. I have to admit that I chuckled to myself when I thought of the possibility of one of the guys who you "bullied" now watching Broke Straight Boys or porn Tube and saying "Holy shit. That's the guy who used to call me faggot, he's taking a big dick up his ass". Kind of a revenge of the nerds or at least the gays in your hometown.

But again Ryan, I respect you more and more with each post. We've had models on the forum in the past who just seemed to want to have the most posts by any model, and really didn't have much to say of any substance. I thank you for your openness and honesty also Ryan. So you used to bully kids in high school for being gay and now through an odd twist of fate you've been able to try to make amends for that. I'm so glad to hear you're both trying to rebuild a friendship now as adults. It's a great story. Thank you for sharing it with us Ryan.

I understand your sentiments and regrets for name calling your friends. However, there is another group of bullies that are sometimes more vicious in their tactics. That group is composed of people who deep down know they are gay but are still in denial. A good example lives on the property where I live. He is 21 and the son of the owners of the property. I met him initially 6 years ago before I moved here. The "gaydar" in me immediately told me he was gay. I did not see him again until I moved here 3 1/2 years ago. When I saw him here I wondered if he had come out yet. It didn't take me long to figure he had not. The kid, another resident and I would all hang out by the pool every afternoon. All he ever talked about were the fag boys at his school and some of the pranks he and his friends had done to them. His younger sister has been dating a very nice young man for a year and he refers to him as a fag boy too. I mentioned he was 21 now and has never even been on a date with a female much less have any female friends. He is tall, dark and extremely handsome, the kind of guy who would have no problem getting a date. In addition, every one of my friends and family that have met him recognize him as being gay. I believe one of his biggest obstacles for coming to terms with himself is the fact that his father is an old school catholic Italian who is always pressuring him to find a girlfriend.

Since he finished school I do not hang out with him as much as I did before. I also avoid any conversation every time he mentions the topic of gay.

I thank and congratulate you Louis for not trying to out him and humiliate him within the community there where he has to live daily. If everything is as you say it is, then he has so many walls of fear, self-loathing and internalized homophobia to work through. Plus he has all the shame and guilt for the gay bashing antics he's perpetrated against others. The worst thing would be for gay people to out him cruelly, thus proving to him that the gay community is vile and not something he would want to be a part of. It could actually set him back years in his process of growth and self actualization.

So many times there is the desire to call a gay basher out when one knows that the perpetrator is really a closet case himself. I'm glad you did not give in to that temptation.

Tampa, I have never outed anyone and never plan to. The other concern I have had was possible retaliation by having me evicted in return. This is a very close knit family here and I know they would stand up for each other. The kid lives in the trailer which separates me from Linda's apartment. He does all his chores and projects in the nude. When I have had service people here like the cable or telephone guy and even the mechanic who picked up my truck, I always get dressed in respect for them. However, he has no problem parading naked around them. When ever we have service people coming over we inform the owners. If they have people coming over, they also leave notices in our mail boxes and tell us it is at our discretion if we want to be nude or not while they are here. Last month they hired one of the kid's high school friend who has a tree service to trim trees around the property. Every one remained nude when he was around since he had been here many times visiting. This brings to mind a story I had forgotten about.

The tree guy was the kid's best friend all through high school. He would come over and hang out regularly. One day after their HS graduation I was sitting on my deck and the kid came over with his eyes all red and moist. When I asked him if he was alright, he said his friend had joined the Army. The kid then broke down in tears in front of me. He stayed depressed for a long time. Then one day, out of curiosity, I asked him if he had heard from his friend. I will never forget his words. He said, "That bastard found out he got his girlfriend pregnant, so he didn't go, Bastard." I fear there is a ticking bomb behind his closet door and one day it will explode.

I feel for this kid, but I also realize I am not the one to light the fuse. That is something he will have to do on his own.

But what I did find is a bestfriend whom I spent 20 yrs together with, bought the house, helped-raise his kids when we had them and now their in their mid-teens. So hopefully in ten years my dream of being a Papa will come true.
