I back what Mike & KG wrote & I may not express what either said so eloquently but it was meant to be in the same vein. Sadly people in the public entertainment business all go through such vile remarks with few exceptions. People sadly are at times not very human in their behavior.

I've seen a lot of models here the last 11 plus years and have interacted with quite a few on this forum and off. One thing I can say is some models should not read and post on the forum!!! Their ego's are to fragile because they expect every member to worship them. I enjoyed back in the day when the models had their own section on the forum to interact with the members, but now they should just stay off!! Ritchie never bothered I'm just not a fan of his porn. After seeing his you tube videos I know now that I don't like him! He's a pretentious little punk who for some reason thinks he's a big star here and has the clout to talk shit about other models behind their backs. I miss the days of junior or Damien Kyle being they would've put him in his place!!! lolololol

You and I have been through all the models who posted. Most were respectful to the members as they understand that without us they would not have a job. But some were conceited and rude but the vast majority were nice kids. And I agree that it made more sense when the models had their own section to post in. But for whatever reason, Mark mixed all three forums into one.

I think that you are overly harsh about Richie (because he never posted his you tube video on Broke Straight Boys, it was David who did). Although I do agree with your point that a model like Richie sensitive to criticism should probably not be reading the Forum at all. If he confined himself to reading his scene comments, he has always done and continues to do very well there, and that is where management has said the majority of Broke Straight Boys members post.

This scene currently has a 4.07 rating which is not good. Mark and Sha have long stated that the ratings are the most important factor in deciding the popularity of models and scenes. The rating system is available to all members of Broke Straight Boys, not just those who post on the forum or the scene page. Richie’s YouTube channel has 9K followers, so I dont think that posting his video here was a major factor to the rating in this scene. I have seen many models popularity wane as time goes by. It is all part of the cycle of being a porn star. There is always a new flavor of the month coming along. And for Richie or his fans to blame some critical comments made on the forum, in my opinion are unfair.
Mike , in 4 of 5 rating is 80% which in strictly mathematical terms mean 4 of 5 members approve. Now more meaningful would be to know how many members bothered to see and rate. A number of 8 members is not the same as say 80. I have not watched as of yet so IU can't say how I feel. And consider this each episode is different so a member may feel differently when watches two different episodes. As in much in this world stats is far from a simple number to evaluate & open to the reader to interpret as to his preconceived biases. I am just saying.

This is the lowest rated scene since Gian’s solo in mid August. And the last partnered scene with a lower rating was Jordan and Charlie in mid July.

What is the spread in the ratings. I do not mean to be contrary but for example when I go on Amazon to buy something new I look at the ratings comparing the numbers in the two lowest ratings to the numbers in the to highest. For it to be meaningful the sample must be large say at least 500. Then if the top 2 numbers must be at least 85% to give me confidence in the rating and the bottom no more than say 10% An extreme rating of grade 1 can skew the overall number greatly while a 3 has a much lesser effect. Mike, I am not trying to be contrary. By training math & stats were a basis for my more advanced degrees in science.

The ratings for all scenes are available to all of us, as it appears on the scene page for all scenes. But as long as you ask, the highest since last July is Stirling & Darron from a few weeks ago at 4.43 compared to the Richie & Johnny scene at 4.07. Our current scene of Darron & Izzy is very highly rated right now at 4.74, but it was only released yesterday so it is way too early to see where it settles in.
In the all time ratings on Broke Straight Boys, currently Calhoun & James from January 2020 is the highest rated scene at 4.78. Conversely the lowest rated all time partnered scene is Lucas & “Reluctant” Mike from February 2013 at 1.86. In all fairness the Lucas/Mike pairing only lasted for sixteen minutes as after Lucas sucked Mike and it was Mike’s turn, he said he couldn’t do it and walked off set mid scene, never to return to Broke Straight Boys I am in the minority and found that fascinating and one of my more memorable scenes as it was very real, and I like the reality of Broke Straight Boys when we truly see a truly straight identifying guy going against his grain. Sometimes as with straight guys like Johnny Forza and Adam Baer it turns out great, but sometimes as with Mike, it does not work out at all. But that is the reality of life.

But getting back to my original point, Richie’s YouTube video was put out on his channel for all his fans to see, including members of the Broke Straight Boys website. So to say that because it was shown on this forum and therefore he received negative feedback to me is irrelevant to the fact that he said it and some people, like me felt it was offensive to throw his fellow Broke Straight Boys scene partners, “under the bus”, so to speak. As I’ve said before, I was never a fan of his porn, but for the most part I said nothing, as I could see how much others enjoyed him. But being disrespectful to fellow models deserved being called out, in my opinion.
The lesson to be learned here is that you’re not allowed to criticize Richie West for anything. So next time Mark comes on the forum asking us to comment on the forum or the scene, don’t be surprised if you hear crickets, because this is a huge turnoff for those of us who have commented regularly and have had this situation turned around on us as being bad people. Can we move on now.
I for one want you and other critics to voice your criticisms. There is no right, correct side just the right for every one to tell it like they see it!!!!

In my opinion, the forum is at its best when we don’t take things too seriously. Too much in life is serious. This is a place to discuss sex and to laugh and have some fun.
