It is a rhetorical question that has no answer but prompts issues of ethnicity which is so 1960's. I see no sense but respect everyone's right to express themselves. That's all I was doing - tongue in cheek.

As Stowe said much earlier in this thread, this subject seems to come up every six months or so, and as I am along with Tampa the most senior member of the forum, I will say that everyone is entitled to their opinion on the subject, but it will never be resolved to everyone's satisfaction.

I will repeat what I say each time the subject of "Broke Straight Boys diversity" comes up on the forum and that is that preference has nothing to do with bigotry or racism. As an example, I don't want to see "bears" on Broke Straight Boys, but I defend the rights and freedoms of older, overweight more hairy men, but those guys are not my sexual turn-on and not what I prefer to see on my porn site. There is so much diversity in society and so many websites catering to so many desires of people.

I do believe that Broke Straight Boys tries to serve it's audience and while I can find fault with many things that management does, I sincerely believe that they try to offer models in proportion to the desires of their membership, with no malice toward any particular group. It is only porn and a matter of who and what turns on this particular audience.

Johnny - I always forget to add on the lol lol lol that others so readily do to punctuate a comment intended to be a "tongue in cheek"; so, I come across a bit serious.

This thread did make me wonder if there was a similar forum on the gay Latin sites or gay black sites or gay Asian sites would they be asking where the other ethnic groups are in their scenes. Is it recruitment or is it just who is applying to a site for the opportunity? I like em all and think Broke Straight Boys does a good job of showing diversity.

My first lover/partner after my divorce was black. Next was Native American. A good FB is Asian. A man is a man in my book!! I don't notice ethnicity when I am viewing scenes. Maybe I am unique but being a gay white guy deceptively living a straight lifestyle for so many years and then busting down the closet door with nothing to hide took me to this place where color/ethnicity doesn't show to me - either positively or negatively. I like where I am but, as I said, I accept there are preferences or prejudices people live with and everyone has a right to say what they wish - even if it is P.I. (politically INCORRECT) in my eyes.

Now I have said too much again (and I have really been working hard to whittle down responses!

Yes, this is niche site. However, there are Broke Straight Black, Arab, Asian, etc. Boys out their as well; isn't that what this sites about, Broke Straight Boys? Why wouldn't minorities fit into the niche of this site?

LOL, to that, I can attest my friend! But, I cannot resist saying just one thing. The last time this topic arose, it came to me but I don't think I offered my in put. No one ever seems to offer, "have you ever noticed how many African American swimmers are on the U.S Olympic teams?" How many are in the NHL? So, while there are Niche sites and all, sometimes the issue isn't demand, but...supply? Maybe there are Broke Straight Black guys out there but, perhaps, this just isn't a sport for everyone? Just sayin'.......
