Please ask Brandon Evans to let his body hair grow back.

I totally disagree with these comments. The models are paid professionals who've chosen to get naked and film porn on this site. Much like actors who get on a stage or athletes who perform in an arena, the models have chosen to put themselves out for public evaluation and the paying customers are certainly entitled to offer both their praise and criticism. I do not support mean-spirited commentary here or anywhere else, but I definitely think that honest and respectful criticism is what the forum is here for.

And for one to comment and say that a model would be hotter in our opinion if they left their natural body hair is certainly a fair comment in my mind. To me "body shaming" involves ordinary people who we work with or see on the street, just living their lives, but once a person agrees to get paid to get naked for adult entertainment, I feel that criticism is a fair part of the equation.

Since this has taken on the form of a "debate" may I ask a question based on this comment? Would you agree that a Jon should be able to degrade, rough up, ridicule, treat indifferently.....a prostitute just because he's called upon her for her services? I realize it's not the same thing but I'm curious ?:confused1:

I appreciate your wanting to discuss this with me here Betu as this is a forum to discuss models and issues regarding Broke Straight Boys As I said above that, "I do not support mean-spirited commentary here or anywhere else", and to me that kind of commentary might be the equivalent to "degrading" a prostitute which of course would be wrong as it would be here as well.

But as the original post on this thread said, "He is a great model, but the hair growing back would make him even better." And those of us who agreed with him also stated our opinion in a similar respectful manner, so how is that equivalent with "degrade, rough up, ridicule, treat indifferently" a prostitute who was paid for their services?

If I hired a prostitute sight unseen based on a description, and then saw that they were a total turnoff, I would see nothing wrong with respectfully telling them that they were not what I was expecting and disappointed. That to me is an equivalent situation.

Well, considering the thread is called "Please ask Brandon Evans to let his body hair grow back" and the management reads these and reply constantly. Enough members stating that he should grow it out they may end up having him do it. Also, there was a comment that him having hair would make him look like a man suggesting that he does not now not only is ridiculous but also you're now body shaming him. No one cares if you have an opinion, suggest actions for a scene but don't insult a model on their looks. If you want body hair, there are plenty of other sites out there with hairy models.

Oh, I'm the opinion police because I disagreed with you? You're beyond ridiculous! Quit body shaming him and just enjoy the scene. If you don't like what you see, go someone else. Plain and simple
JERK...Everyone who pays his or her dues has a right to there opinion. If you don't like what you read. Don't read it. Go some place else. Plain and Simple. I care about his opinion. So your wrong there.

I appreciate Betu bringing this up. As I'm sure Betu already knows, because he's very intelligent, his analogy is imprecise. If we are talking about a situation with a john (or a Jon) with a hustler, the john may be disappointed with the final "unveiling", as it were. The john may feel the body hair is too out of control or too short. He may not like the hustler's legs, chest, belly, penis size or whatever. He may feel that the body odor is unpleasant or that general hygiene is lacking. Betu's question comes down to, Is it fair to also criticize the hustler to his face for any perceived lacks of pleasing bodily attributes or the quality of his sexual skills? On the face of it, I would say no. Why? Because if the john is displeased he always has the option of bolting and never seeking the hustler's services again.

On a porn site such as this we don't really have the option of never having to see a model again. We DO always have the option of never watching another scene with a model we don't care for whatever reason...be it due to an unappealing body, personality or what have you. But that also ignores the point that our money is being used to pay certain models we don't care for, for every scene they're in, whether we actually watch and enjoy their work or not. Over the longer term, that can grate on some nerves. lol With the diverse body types that Broke Straight Boys tries to bring us, in an attempt to please as many customer tastes as possible, we have to accept that we definitely will not like them all. We can only hope on a good site that we will find far more models we really like, than not. It's just an unwritten and mostly unspoken understanding of membership.

In this situation we are talking about a model who is nearly universally well regarded in here. Some members are certain to have reactions to any major changes of grooming among their favorite models. I think back to Rocco and Aiden with their beautiful extra-long hair and then coming back for scenes with shaved heads. Or Zeno Kostas with beautiful short hair and then beautiful fairly long hair...but then taking it super long without much styling done with it. Of course people (paying members) are going to comment either for or against the change.

Getitboy is fully entitled to his opinion in here as much as anyone else...just as all of us are free to agree or disagree with him. I appreciate his desire to stick up for the underdog or otherwise come to the defense of someone he feels is being treated unfairly. That's admirable in my book. The one point where Getitboy and I part ways in our opinions is on the issue of body shaming. For me that means criticizing someone's body for something permanent or semi-permanent that they have very little or no control over whatsoever. True body shaming in my mind is saying... You're ugly. Your nose is too big. You have a small dick. You have a lazy eye and it drives me crazy. I can't stand your red hair. I don't like that big scar on your belly. You're way too skinny. Eat something! You're too fat. Lose weight! You're so short! Your freckles are so ugly. Your acne scars are a total turnoff to me.

Those are all examples of what I would consider body shaming. In this thread we have been discussing temporary and personal choice issues of body grooming. Those are things that are choices that can be changed within minutes or weeks. I don't feel that we body shame anyone if we say politely. You know... I really don't care for your new moustache. I hope you'll consider shaving it off. I really prefer your haircut to be longer/shorter. I think the manscaping on you looks best when you leave more hair here, and shave it off or leave less hair there.

On a more controversial subject I don't think it's body shaming any model to politely ask them not to get more tattoos. lol

Finally some action on the forum. I miss Joninliverton lolololol
LOLOLOLOL..............................But I can't strongly disagree with you Peter.

A little controversy can be a good thing.................things had been rather boring lately. :laidback:

First of all, my original comment was not directed towards you. For you to assume that what I stated was in regards to you speaks volumes to your character. I'm speaking to the original poster who titled the forum this was to the administrators who oversee the models. That is the demand I am referring to. You can speak your opinions as you please but do not automatically assume that I am speaking to you especially when I specifically reference the comment I responded to. You're not that important mikeytank, sorry to disappoint you.

I respect your response and thank you for stating your admiration for what I was station. However, regarding your body shaming comment, mikeyank did say that him not having hair makes him look like less of a man. That's literally "below the belt" and definitely a body shaming comment in my opinion...

Perhaps you should take your (not you're) own advice. You're (not your) wrong there. I am unable to take you seriously, sir!

Obviously you care seeing as you replied to a comment not directed towards you and you're still responding.
Who were you directing your comment at Jerk? I don't like you. You don't like me. Let it pass.

I'm pretty sure the "Reply With Quote" button allows you to see who the comments are directed to. Maybe if you spend a little less time trying to hurl insults at others and actually read the comments, you wouldn't be ill-prepared in these forums. Just a thought

And for the record, I actually agreed with your comment earlier.
