According to the forum count there are 141 members here. Most, if not all, have nothing to say. On 12.16.2011, the record was set at 4.47 am, with 1,105 members. It was not an exciting evening. Are these people really here?

Who cares!

Who cares if the other 900 members don't post! As long as we have clever and fun forumites as yourself, Tim ( loved your car quizzes), we'll be OK!!

Most people don't post they are here for the porn but we are working on getting more people posting....
Thanks for reiterating that point Mark, that the vast majority of folks who "come" to a porn site are here to do exactly that, to "cum". Most folks are not here to type and read, etc.

That is why I've always understood from the inception of the forum, as an addition to the site, that one cannot take comments on the forum as what the majority of membership may actually think. I also believe that the "ratings" on the scenes are not voted on by over-all membership. I was a member for several months, before I noticed the buttons that I could vote for a scene on. Again I believe that most members, "watch, wank, and split", leaving commenting and voting to those of us, so inclined to comment and to vote.

I understand that you and your management team have ways to determine what the true majority of membership enjoy and watch.

I recall a while back when you were offering free DVD's of Broke Straight Boys, and asked who wanted one, and other contests, where all of the sudden folks I had never heard from before, chimed in. I hope that your new ways to get more people to post will be successful, for I LOVE Broke Straight Boys, primarily for the forum, and really want to see your site grow and prosper in 2012.

Merry Christmas Mark, and keep up the fine work!!!

I was glad to read someone else had trouble finding the voting process. I have been a member for a while now and I still cannot figure out a way to vote/rate. Another thing I find confusing, what makes up a members status: Junior Member-Member-Elite Member-etc.

Any and all feedback would be appreciated.

Hey Frankiebob, I can answer your questions. The type of member that you are, depends on how many posts that you have made. I am not sure exactly where you change, but I think the first one is at 100 posts.

You vote by clicking on the shield that you want(i-5).......right there where it shows you the current rating. After you click on your choice, it will say thank you for voting, under the shields. At undetermined times in the future, you will be able to vote again, too.

I hope that helps.

A picture paints a thousand words

Click on any number of shields (stars) between 1 and 5, at the video page.

Welcome FrankieBob and merry Christmas to you!

It's up to us

The reason I joined this forum -and promiscuous rejoined it twice now- is: Ms. K:001_wub:, MikeYank and Tampa.

My friend Cumrag aka Stimpy is back, new people like temperament Beth, Larkin/JokeHB the director/actor/writer... yes and you to Tim, and more modest friends.

One in particular Kaalaapuni chooses no longer to write here. Finds this forum way too unfriendly and that it lacks of respect for one's opinion.

It's not up to Mark..., but to each of us individually to make sure we choose our worthing with care. There is no need at all to hurt the feelings of others. The friendlier this forum gets, the more people want to join the conversation and share their thoughts with us.

if i have nothing to say, can i say it anyway?
having respect and not being able to agree are different things, though both deserve polite words.
i learned that the way jimmy uses the word shit is different than the way i use the same word.
as in i hope some of this shit makes sense in the morning. same word, different world.
waiting to give santa what i have for him the christmas.

Ok, I've vowed to treat others with respect, can I blast management? Why the noisy bed? adn the decor sux.... just kidding. I truly wish you Happy Holidays and a prosperous New Year!

tim114,

I dare to disagree. Speaking for myself, I sometimes come on to the forum to read what has been posted, to read about new members, to read about whatever is going on here in cyberspace. Sometimes, by the time I have read all that I want to, it is much later, and I don't care to respond anymore, just too tired. Other times, I read something that strikes a chord, and I do want to respond, but perhaps decide not to, until I have given it more thought. ANd then again, at other times, I write a whole long dragged out response, with a heated head, and then erase the post before actually posting it. By then I have spent some time here and stay logged on, and thinking about how I want to respond.

The point is, just because you don't see constant feedback, doesn't mean people don't care, nor that we have nothing to say. Afterall, sometimes, the best thing to say, is nothing. Regardless of whether I post or not, I may spend hours here, as I am sure many other forumites do.
