Nico Nova Fucks Aiden Asher-scene thread

Glad you guys liked the scene but please please comment on the scene page if you haven't done so.

What is the importance of doing that as opposed to posting here on the forum? I'm curious.

Good question! As a relatively long time Broke Straight Boys member, my answer would be, while there is some overlap of members who comment on both, the two seem to have been on an overall basis two quite different groupings of Broke Straight Boys members. At the risk of over generalizing, the scene posters are more spontaneously responding to the video just watched and also are members who never bothered to do what has to be done to sign up for the Forum, whereas the Forum posters tend more to be pressing their personal preference agendas while commenting on a scene (e.g. age and body type preferences, straight versus gay or bi preferences, etc.). Also, it seems to me that the scene posters are generally more positive and the Forum posters are far more negative (with exceptions on both scene and Forum posts of course). Frequently negative Forum posters express disbelief at how much higher a scene gets rated than they would give, and that positive vs. negative general distinction is one answer to that. I think that where Mark is coming from in encouraging us to post both on the Forum and the scene comments is to get a better overall membership sample in terms of what the overall membership and not just us Forumites think about in rating a scene. For that reason, I do try to comment on both.

Some excellent observances KG. To add a historical perspective, at one time the scene pages were the “Wild West” of Broke Straight Boys People would post whatever they wanted and there was one particular character who eventually came to the forum who said some horrible things, particularly about one of the models who he said looked like his late son. He was a sick character. And Mark subsequently banned him from the forum. And around that period began moderating the scene pages. Now everything said there has to be approved by a moderator before being posted, where on the forum whatever we say here instantly goes live. Some posts in rare instances have been deleted but it is largely a place where Mark gives us great latitude to say whatever we are thinking, both positive and negative, and that freedom is the chief reason I remain a loyal member here. Long live the forum!

The comments posted on the forum aren't tied to the scene page and eventually one the scene is older the thread is bumped down off the first and second pages. The comments on a scene and model are tagged to that scene and models and are never removed. Does that make sense?

It actually makes a lot of sense as anyone can go back to any scene in Broke Straight Boys history and read the comments along with the scene, whereas the comments on the forum recede into the back pages usually to never see the light of day as time goes by. I get it now!

Appreciate the historical perspective. I think that I know who that particular character was!
