BluMedia is a private company and Mark has maintained Broke Straight Boys as an independent studio, while much of his competition over the years has sold themselves to an international conglomerate. These past few years have been very challenging to small businesses and I appreciate that Mark has maintained Broke Straight Boys, while on a smaller scale using a smaller production studio than in the past but continuing to provide new content.

I thank Mark, Sha and David for giving us a Christmas bonus this week and while my first preference is always brand new to porn boys like Nico, I appreciate the studio’s having the need to use experienced guys who work for other studios than Broke Straight Boys as well. In fact, my current favorite Broke Straight Boys, Darron has an extensive filmography in gay porn.

Mike...well said. I think that many members don't really watch or listen to the "getting to know" interview or we forget. Case in point, I was upset when a certain member brought up that Amone bottomed and I totally forget that on the GTK scene we discussed him bottoming for another studio and of course I forgot and vented my frustration on another post. Then someone PM'd me and told me to watch his GTK and sure enough, we mentioned that he did bottom once, and he is gay4pay so I think some members come on here and they try to prove that Broke Straight Boys is sort of doing some sort of "bait & switch" tactics or they have nothing else to do with themselves and they find pleasure trying to prove that some Broke Straight Boys boys work for other studios.

The fact is, that all our models have worked with other studios. Either they film with us first and go to another studio or they have filmed a few scenes with another studio prior to arriving onto the futon and some guys you will see only on Broke Straight Boys such as Nico (so far). Did you not read David’s post two above your’s? The whole point is that Amone, David & Broke Straight Boys have talked about his work for other studios. No one is “pretending” that he has not. But to splash up big pics of him from a brand new release featuring the name of the competing studio is rude to Mark in my opinion.

In my opinion you and Broke Straight Boys do a great job in full disclosure up front, and I recall instances of you becoming angry when it came out that a model lied to you. My philosophy is to give a new model the benefit of the doubt and believe him up front, but, if he is subsequently been proven to lied, not to believe him again. Kind of a "Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me" philosophy.

Since this is the scene thread, I just watched the scene and would like to comment on that: First, thanks to Broke Straight Boys for giving us this bonus holiday scene, especially since Nico was in it!
