New Year's superstitions

This is one I have been obsessed with most of my life. My daughter has also taken on this tradition.

I refuse to bring in the New Year with a dirty kitchen. I feel if I bring in the new year with a dirty kitchen it will stay dirty all year. However, this is the hardest year to accomplish my goals. It is almost 5:30 p.m. and I am still working on it. The reason is that I have been sick the last three days with a bug, living between my recliner and bed throughout the days. I have managed to cook simple meals and eat but the kitchen is full of dirty pots and dishes. Where is my boy Zander Floyd when I need him?

I am determined to finish this mess, eat something and go to bed. See y'all tomorrow.

Well Louis I am sick as a dog too. Always heard the way you are on New Years is how your year will go.
That scares me. No dancing for me tonight. Get those dishes done.And wish you a Happy New Year.
