New series of Downton Abbey starts this sunday

First the X Factor, then Strictly, now we know we're getting into Autumn with the new series of Downton Abbey starting this Sunday.

Every season I am so tempted to just buy the DVD and "marathon it," but I enjoy the week by week build up. My niece usually comes over and watches it with me, then we discuss it with Steve's mom...chatty Cathys!
Have you tried the new Starz series "Outlander?" It's pretty good. From watching a lot of the BTS, they have really worked hard to make it as realistic as possible; even researching back hundreds of years to get the correct tartan patterns.

Outlander is pretty good, but a bit on the syrupy side, but Jamie is way humpy. I really love Ray Donovan (hot), Masters of Sex and the new MAX series, The Knick (really twisted, but well done).

Just watched the last two episodes of True Blood. After the last season it should have been called "Too Tired". Some shows out stay their welcome.

Homeland will be starting again. I loved the first season, the second one sucked, so I'm hoping for a better third. I've really liked Claire Danes work ever since she did "My So Called Life" with the incredibly beautiful Jared Leto.

Looking forward to Downton!!! Love the English or Scottish shows. Foyle's War, Sherlock, Vera (fucking bleak, but Brenda Blythen is fabulous), The Bletchley Circle, Endeavor, Poirot, Miss Marple, The Hour, Copper, the list goes on...
