I totally agree that Broke Straight Boys has historically used its name "Broke Straight Boys" as the plot, and, as a result, has excluded all other plot. But I don't think that the two are mutually exclusive as shown by the variety of ideas and suggestions this thread has generated. Perhaps by all means keeping the Broke Straight Boys theme, while at times setting up a scene with an element of plot might be doable.
