So I feel like crap and decided to do nothing but relax in bed today. Instead of watching TV or playing PS3, what did my dumbass do? Read these forums, went back 50 pages LOL Man yall are some mad crazy people, I'm glad I found these forums. Wish I had been here sooner. Rather than bump a bunch of old posts, (I hate when people do that), just a few things I wanted to say. But before I do that, I guess I should give a proper introduction of myself.
Yall can call me Lasher or JJ. I'm gay, soon to be 33 and live in Delaware, USA I'm your typical guy, not into the whole gay scene or drama, but I love my LGBT bro's and sis's and will always fight the good fight with yall. (That always sounds worse in text then it does in person, I don't mean that to sound rude or demeaning to anyone) Like most here, I love porn. In fact my dream is to get into the biz someday and make some porn the way I'd like to see it that I haven't seen it done anywhere before (behind the camera, no one wants to see me on camera lmfao) Anyway, that's all the personal info you're getting out of me, for now. LOL
I first discovered Broke Straight Boys back in the early days, I think there were only 10 or so vids up the first time I joined. I saw Aiden and Jamie on a feeder site or something like that, I don't remember. I've been an on and off member over the years, and this time is the first time I found my way to the forums. I almost didn't last, cuz as soon as I joined I found out about Mike and then read his posts on these forums. Man he was awesome. He was one of my favorite models anyway, and then I got a glimpse of the man behind the screen, or at least what he wanted us to see, and it got to me. I cancelled my account, but a message from jwglass changed my mind and got me to sign back up.
Anyway, as I got to reading today, I have to say Broke Straight Boys and D&E are like the best approach I've ever heard of. The way they treat the guys, coming here on the forums and seeking advice and talking to us, some models being on the boards talking... wow I've never even heard of that anywhere else, let alone it not costing extra! LOL Dave, you and your crew are fuking amazing, and reading alot of your posts and getting to know more about "the voice" really makes all the vids even more enjoyable. I'm sad you won't be doing Broke Straight Boys anymore, but you can be sure I'll be following any and all of your future ventures. Everything I've read from/about you is a bit of an inspiration, as you seem to have alot of similiar ideas/philosophies as me when it comes to the industry. (Of which I know nothing about, only horror stories that everyone hears. But when I've thought about what I want to do and how I want to do it, it seems to mesh with your personal approach ie. treatment of the actors, public relations, etc.) Thank you for showing that it can be done without being a sterotypical sleazebag producer! To Mark and the BluMedia team, don't worry I'll definetly be sticking around to see what the "new Broke Straight Boys" you have in store is.
Oh boy I'm rambling, tend to do that, especially when partaking of the "devils lettuce" I believe yall called it? Anyway, I'm looking forward to making yalls acquaintance and being a part of this forum.
Oh one more thing.
Put me in the Tyler is an A.G. crowd. Of all my favorites, he's my favorite. He's got the looks, the brains, the personality... DAMN! Followed closely by Mike R, Diesal, Austin, the original Aiden, and as of yesterday, Shane and Cameron (holy crap those two sizzle!) I like plenty of the other guys, but those ones just do something to me LOL
