After recent events it appears that it may not be such a good idea to allow models to post carte blanche within the forum. As members, we have been restricted in our contact with models by not being allowed to pm them however, the models seem to have no restrictions where they post and, as it has proved recently, things can get pretty heated when a model feels he has been personally attacked. If this was member against member then fair enough, however, as members, we should be allowed to express our honest opinion without the fear of upsetting anyone or being replied back with comments of late.

I personally feel that a members section, such as the one this thread is in, should be members only as this gives us a bit of breathing space to express our own opinions. Mark has created a new section so that we can chat to the models so it's not like I'm advocating a total ban. It's just sometimes it's nice to have a place of our own.

I do expect a public slating for this, but I have never been afraid of stating my views when needed and I think the time is right for me to make my feelings known.

Dear Jon,

I must agree.

As a member, I've often expressed a wish to hear more often
from more models. But Mark's creation of a designated CHAT
WITH THE MODELS section has fully satisifed that wish.

Models are welcome, of course, to read members' threads,
but if we are to be inhibited in expressing our viewpoints
there out of fear of hurting tender egos, what's the use of
it? Better simply to have clubs dedicated to particular
models where their admirers may admire.

Some models may be too thin-skinned to take the full
range of members' comments in their stride. The
last thing we want is models lashing out defensively.

This is a porn site, hence one for members' entertainment.
Let's not forget that.

Well done, Jon. This thread is quite timely.

So let me get this straight. You want to be able to be rude and disrespect the models without them being able to defend themselves, right?
Because, that is basically what your post suggests. I don't feel like I have to refrain myself from saying anything in the scenes thread because the models might read or participate in the discussion.
It feels like you want to be able to bash them without consequences. I'm sorry but I don't agree. If you don't like a model, don't watch his scenes. If you don't like what a model did in a scene then say it but in a civil way. Why do you guys feel the need to be rude to models or people and feel like it's your right because you have a membership. I mean, I just don't get it.
Respect the models and they will respect you. Everyone deserves respect. It's that so hard to understand?

I particularly love being able to discuss a scene with a model or get his opinion on a scene. It adds to the scene.

I don't think that's a good idea. If we have to have blocked off sections of the forum, then it's a tacit admission that free speech doesn't work and that people can't critique or disagree in a civil manner. The first result I'd foresee of having sections of the forum blocked off to models posting on...would be to see fewer models choosing to join the forum at all. I'd rather have more models posting, than less.

It feels like you want to be able to bash them without consequences. Again I did not say that I'm sorry but I don't agree. If you don't like a model, don't watch his scenes. I suggest you read my post and TGs once more and not jump to conclusions which you obviously have. This thread was started mainly because of the response that Damien said to a few not unkind remarks on the critique thread. So did anyone of you politically correct people jump on him - nope not at all. Did you pm him to say hey that was out of order - of course you did not because you are not allowed to. Did Chuck or Mark step in after his comment - nope they did not, but as someone stated in that thread they are soon to ban others that do.

And yes I have a membership, just like you, tampa and TG and others do. The difference between us and the models is that we pay for ours and theirs is free as well as they get paid for each post they do.

I like the models posting on the forum, but...

The models don't perform for free they get paid, so this is a job for them, and the same as any job it should come with a code of conduct, and that means not telling the customers they're talking shit or taking offense because not all members like the latest product they're selling.

Although I don't like reading mean spirited comments from the members, I like it even less when I read mean spirited and overly defensive comments from the models. That may sound like a double standard, but the members pay while the models get paid, and to me that's quite a distinction.

I only have a problem with three recent comments which all may have been rushed responses to negative comments, and it may not happen again, but I wouldn't like to see them set a precedent.

You put it in a much better way than I did Grace - that is probably why they chose to call you that. x

So, let me get this straight. You think it is ok that those who have a little more money than another get to abuse the less fortunate however they like?

The models are working. They deserve the same respect and dignity that we would want extended to paying members.

The examples of "paying members" abusing models verbally on the forums far outweigh any return comments from the models.

Wow, talk about a golden rule and do unto others whatever you want to.

This standard is simply unacceptable on the most elementary moral basis.

This in a community which thinks that the rest of society treats them unfairly and prejudicially...

ok I feel like my post and Damien's response to it started all this. If you read my post I said in the nicest way possible that Damien seemed disconnected to t scene. I know many of you disagree with me but I think I did not bash him I merely stated an opinion which i feel I have every right to do.

Nothing to do with you KellyG - this has been brewing for some time. It was only a matter of time before it came to a head.

I think that would be boring. My co-workers just speak there minds as members do. Do you really not want us to reply back to your pots that you post even if they're negative or positive ones. We like the feed-back. By if you dont like something you should use youre judgement to know when to put out the fire. Everyone has a different a opinion about something, but knowing that models read posts how could we not defend ourselves ha.

Graham - I really like you fella (thats English for friend),

The forum was created yonks ago for feedback to the management about films and the site. If we do not like a film or absolute love a film, then our correspondence - that is via the forum film critique thread - is to the management and not to the individuals concerned. Therefore if you choose to get involved with the forum as you have done 555 times, then you have to accept that our comments are just that - to the management and not yourselves.

That is the main point of this thread. When things get personnel and models call each other then I think that the privilege that the models have has gone too far and, as stated earlier, your participation should be curtailed to the new models section of the forum.

However, if you choose to take out your own membership and have the same access and privileges as us members, then please feel to subscribe. No offence meant.

Come on now Jon, do you honestly believe that in all the negative posts that have been made to these models, and I might add other models as well, were comments only for management? Many if not all of them from these Threads to the models in particular have been posted with the knowledge that the model would more than likely read them. That being said, you come back with the statement that the model should not take any of the comments personally. Maybe in a perfect world, but my friend, we are not there yet. At least on this side of the pond.

I have to disagree with those who would restrict what models say as if somehow they are not allowed to defend themselves. The fact is that anyone has a perfect right to say whatever they wish to say here and in point of fact if you say something that is disagreed with by the model or another paying customer then you can be taken to the woodshed for it if that person thinks you are out of line. I have heard some rather catty remarks made by people here concerning different models. Some of those remarks were personal in nature. I have replied to some of those comments myself and I have no issue if the models reply to them as well.

As for this BS of the customer is always right, no he or she is not and if a person gets a reply for their observations then my opinion is suck it up and take it like an adult. If you believe the reply is inappropriate then take it up with management, otherwise do the rest of us a favor and favor and piss off.

Juanjo, thanks for your post, I'm with you 100%!
