Just because a person doesn't post on the forum doesn't mean he doesn't read the forum. I joined the site in April 2011 and read the forum for a month before I decided to join it and post. There are many times up to this very day that I read the forum without posting anything; whereas, there are others who seem to be compelled to post even it is just a few words almost every time they access the forum.

That's all true enough Stowe. There are plenty of ways to deceive people in the forum in regards to all of the many ways you mentioned above. Somebody can "lurk" in the forum for years as a non-posting member or as a "guest" who can read everything going on but has no posting privileges. But just because somebody can, doesn't mean that they have. lol

And FYI- quoting and inserting links and/or photos on a message board is not that difficult to do. I am 18 years old and a member of quite a few boards. Clicking on "reply with quote" or adding in for a pic isn't rocket science. In fact, I am also, shocking as it may be, able to multi quote, bold and underline things, and increase the font.

As a paying member of the site, a person can access and/or use any of the benefits available to all members in any way he chooses subject to the rules and regulations of the site. And as I said above, I read the forum a month before I signed up for it, and was in no way deceiving any one or lurking about.

As to your last sentence, that is obvious. That's why the forum represents a minute part of the total membership of the entire site.

You're absolutely right Stowe. There's nothing wrong at all with lurking or reading the forum as a guest without posting privileges. I did the same thing myself before I joined. And neither you nor I had any sinister intent. haha I was only saying that if some people thought that Distinctive in particular was being untruthful about being out of the loop of the forum for two years when he wasn't...that yes, it is theoretically possible. But... I don't believe that that's the case.

If you sign up to a site which states you have to be 18 to join and you are only 16, then you are being untruthful. AND, as you guys are so up there with people telling the truth (remember Jake Tipton) then I would expect you to be the same here. Otherwise double standards comes to mind which does not surprise me one iota.

What a silly comparison Jon. When I was a teenager, I started going to "adult bookstores" before I was 18 to look at gay porn, and I would venture to guess that a large percentage of teenagers today have checked out internet porn, well before they were of legal age to do so. Teenagers have always had a fascination with porn and sex way before it was legal for them to do so. Did you never view any porn before it was legal for you to do so, Jon?

And for the 1000th time, I had no moral issue with Jake Tipton lying. It was just a just a matter of sexual attraction. I personally am sexually excited by watching a guy who I can believe is doing it all for the first time here on Broke Straight Boys, and when I found out that Jake not only had done it all with guys on many, many gay websites prior to saying that it was all new to him here, I lost my own sexual desire to watch him. No moral issue, no double standard, just a matter of my own personal sexual attraction. I NEVER said that Jake should be banished from Broke Straight Boys, just that I had lost MY desire to watch him. Are there not models who you do not desire watching for various reasons???
