Hey, thought I'd start this one off but not confuse it with the long standing members fav music. So here are my top albums/cds however, they are not in any order because it depends what mood I'm in which I decide is my fav of the day.

Neil Young - I have nearly all his albums but more recent CDs. Favs are After the Goldrush, Zuma and Live Rust which I've also got on DVD.

CSNY - Deja Vu plus I have a College Dudes box set called CSN.

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon/The Wall/Wish you were here.

Eric Clapton - Slowhand

Beatles - White Album and Sgt Peppers.

Yes - The Yes Album and Close to the Edge (have them on vinyl thanks dad)

Supertramp - Breakfast in America and Crime of the Century

Rolling Stones - Let it Bleed and High Tide and Green Grass

Neil Finn - 7 Worlds Collide

The Who - Who's Next and Quadrophenia

Coldplay - X&Y

The Verve - Urban Hymns

Tom Petty - Full Moon Fever

U2 - All that you can't leave behind

Tears for Fears - The Seeds of Love/Songs from the Big Chair

Finally, I have over 10000 songs on my Ipod so it is impossible to name all my favs but the above are the ones I listen to most. Also like Bowie, Genesis and Fleetwood Mac.
 
Jon I too love and have most of Neil Youngs albums (yes albums lol) Although I love Harvest I think I would pick Everybody knows this is nowhere as my favorite. Like you the rest in no particular order.

neil diamond- stones (I know sounds weird, but I kneel for the diamond lol0
collective soul- 7 year itch
 
I read your list when I woke up this morning, and while having breakfast on Sunday mornings I listen to our local classic rock radio station doing two hours of Beatles music. For me they are the greatest and most influential rock act ever, and any album of theirs that you choose will be fine with me.

When on vacation with a good friend last April, he brought a double College Dudes of all of the Beatles early hits. It is indeed an amazing collection. I can recall at age 13, buying the 45 single of "I Want To Hold Your Hand", in late 1963 after getting home from school, and playing it over and over at very high volume, as I was the only one home. I couldn't believe what an incredible sound they had, They made a great impression on me from the very beginning and I still love the Beatles.

I wonder whether the Beatles double CDs were the red and blue double albums or not ?

I do like Rufus Wainwright but have yet to get any of his stuff. Queen were brilliant with Freddy and have got most of their stuff (I'm not sure why they're not on my list, I just forgot). Carol King's Tapestry is a masterpiece as is Joni Mitchell's Blue.
