Landon Wells Interview and Touching Himself

I'm not generally big on the solo scenes as, they aren't really my thing unless, that's just the mood I'm in and want to binge on scenes of watching guys jerk off. Mostly for the expressions on their faces when they get ready to and the moment they release! I mean, it can be a separate source of entertainment all in and of it's self.. but, I realize that the solos (as released here) is part of the introduction of a model in a progressive way.

The reality is (at least from my perspective just because I don't rely on solo's) is that they can be shot at anytime during a models visit, stay or shooting session. When they are released isn't a reflection of when they were shot. Again, just my perspective, observation. We know that Landon has already shot several scenes during his participation in Shoot Week. So, maybe this was shot after a scene .....but my point being, I don't get to excited about solo's and I don't really think models who come out to film even for the first time (unless they are a one time shot) always are going to be spectacular. In fact (again my opinion) a better time for the solo to be shot if a model is new to Broke Straight Boys filming and hasn't ANY prior experience doing a filmed solo, would be after they've gained some knowledge of what to do in front of the camera. Those are the solos that I tend to think you see more of a performance, sometimes, but by contrast, after a long week or shoot, a solo shoot afterwards, they could very well be spent too!

Actually the way Sha has been doing the solos is that he shoots both the BTS intro and the solo in one session when the model arrives before he has shot any scenes yet. Then the session is divided into a BTS usually released on a Tuesday followed by the jerk off scene shown to us the next night. You can see that Landon is wearing the same outfit as his interview and this was all part of his initial on camera session.

As I often say, the Broke Straight Boys viewership is made up of different folks with varying mindsets looking for different sorts of things. I am very much into the reality aspect of Broke Straight Boys, and I totally am into seeing the BTS and solo when the model first arrives. I am not necessarily looking for a wonderful "performance" during the solo, but rather as a gauge of his naked body, his attributes and his sense of comfort performing in front of a camera. Then I enjoy viewing his progression moving forward from that staring point.

I liked the solo with Landon. Well, I mostly liked it. I have no problem that during his solo he couldn't get a good erection. I'm sure it's easier to think you can get hard on the set, but it's a totally different thing to get a concrete-hard boner with all of the lights, the mics, and the people standing around. I'm sure he did everything he could, but he's so damned cute that I couldn't be disappointed. There's one reason I was disappointed, and it's going to sound like a broken record. For that I'll plead, "Guilty".

Am I the only one who dislikes the latest "artistic endeavor" in shooting the scenes. By this, I mean rolling the camera to skew the horizon. Just as Landon is undressing, about at the 2:22 mark, the camera rolls to the right. It doesn't pan to the right, it rolls to the right. Landon stays in the center, but the windows are suddenly tilted to the left. Then the frame rights itself, but then again the camera rolls and the horizon of the room is cockeyed (pun intended) again. Why Sha, why?

Hitchcock used this technique very effectively in many of his films. But in those cases it was used to make the viewers uncomfortable. When the horizon changes, it causes the viewer to feel as if something is wrong. It's the same reason people get seasick. The other time I've seen it used was in the old Batman TV show. In that case, it was done as campy and "schtick". Is Broke Straight Boys becoming "schtick" now? This is not like panning the camera around the model. That's perfectly fine, and would give us a great view of this handsome young man.

It seems like this has been added only recently. I'm used to the camera moving, that's done all the time. Generally, the more slowly and smoothly the camera moves, the more professional it looks. In the scene with Ben and Dillon (which was rated higher than the one with Ashton and Tanner, so I don't know why it's not on the "Highest Rated" list on the home page...except maybe Tanner) there was none of this rolling the camera crap. And that was one incredibly hot scene.

I haven't seen this mentioned by anyone else, so I'm thinking it's just me. Do others really think it adds to the scene? Is it sexy to look at these hot new models like cartoon characters? I like Broke Straight Boys and it's a great deal, but I'm tired of watching scenes that were shot aboard the S. S. Minnow. I think it's distracting and annoying, and it looks less than professional. Again, I only can ask, "Why Sha, why?" :2c:

And I'm not disputing that! But, perhaps this can illustrate my meaning:biggrin::

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that Twitter destroys any of the backstory that Broke Straight Boys develops. Maybe these kids should learn that you don't have to tweet every damned thing that comes to mind. If you want to destroy any of the "straight boy" mystique, go to twitter. The only twitter account that I saw that was closer to a "clitter" account was Rowan's.

Honestly, I can't be mad at Twitter or people who use it...Well maybe the way our current leader in the White House does...lol but, just as I said in a thread about a recent scene, too much information interfering with my objectivity when I watched a scene. The only faction I have control over is my own?

I'm not saying Twitter is good or bad. I'm just saying that, like you pointed out, it can give you more information that you really want. Interestingly, Ronan Kennedy and Tanner rarely use their Twitter accounts, and I don't think Benjamin even has one. These are currently my favorite models here. There might be something to those models who just don't need to share everything they do and crave constant adulation from their fans. Their appreciation shows up in their ratings (Just an observation).

Good observation OF. It is somewhat of a turn-off for me to learn that these guys are constantly "selling themselves" with wish lists and selling private access to homemade scenes to fans and perhaps even selling themselves to fans????

The three models you mentioned are exclusive to Broke Straight Boys I believe, (I don't really know about Benjamin, but it makes sense to me that he is too), and they seem more "classy" to my personal taste. For the models and fans who like to buy presents for their favorite boys, more power to them. I just prefer the ones who come to Broke Straight Boys to film some scenes and then go back to their regular jobs and lives and not being social media stars.

Well, I don't have a response except to say, Twitter is one of the means of selling, networking, communication in the times we live. I used to say "it's not something I would use" until I created an account and stared following and being followed by the very models we all lust after. Only to find that some of them are just as friendly and personable as they are attractive.I don't buy our local paper but, I certainly like to read it and keep up with local happenings in my area

Well, now that we've discussed Twitter, how about talking about Broke Straight Boys Am I really the only one who is annoyed by the wonky camera angles? They've got a bunch of hot new models. Do they really need to do all the theatrics?

Thanks Tyler. I never even thought of apps, since I never use them. I only use a desktop and don't use an iphone. lol

Damn, Dude! LOL That's living on the wild side! I didn't think my heart or lungs would work right without at least an iPhone 7.

I'm worried that my dick needs at least a FEW apps to work right! LOLOLOL

LOLOLOL Maybe that's what's wrong with my heart/lungs...and a few other things. lol I've been using the same flip phone for nearly eight years now and if I ever need another phone, I'll probably buy another flip phone...if I can find one. lol It fits in my pants pocket so nicely, with no butt dialing!! lol Call me "new old school."

Hey, "New Old School". You could be starting a new religion!

Anything that doesn't impair good pornography is a good thing.

LOLOLOL!

I checked out his twitter page and see that he is a very openly gay young guy and so there is not that same "progression" with him as with some of the other newbies who told us that gay sex was new to them. Here are some of his pics from twitter.

And I think he liked "hanging out" with Ashton, (not that I blame him, lol)

His latest tweet, he mentions another gay porn site, so I am guessing he is heading for shooting there. It is great to have a variety of guys on Broke Straight Boys My personal preference is the new to gay sex type "straight" guys, but pretty gay boys are cool too! It is a big wide world and Broke Straight Boys needs to cater to all tastes of the members.

Can someone please help me out here.......who is Connor R that posts on Twit and referred to in this post? As far as I know he hasn't appeared in any form on Broke Straight Boys, at least not yet!

Sha told us a little while back that he was one of the new models in the house. We have not yet seen him on the site, but he will be in upcoming scenes.
