I think this scene would’ve gotten a better response had it been released 3 months ago. I just feel like the talent is moving in a different direction with these last few shoot weeks, and this scene doesn’t score well in the middle of all that. I feel it was held back way too long.

Jay, I think you have a very valid point. Many of us are way over Bruno now. When the last 2 Axel Kane scenes drop, there may be a similar reaction from us. Since he generally got panned pretty bad. But he at least can be argued is a straight boy.

KG, I think you have a valid point also. The vast majority of posters on the scene threads are members we don’t hear from on the forum. Many are probably newer and perhaps more casual viewers who don’t check out the models else ware. I guess if you were really naive you might actually believe Justin and Bruno were really Broke Straight Boys Lol

Good point, plus the Forum posters tend to do their own independent research on social media which does make them more fully informed when a new model with a history on other porn sites falsely claims to be straight.

No my friend. You did not "tick off" anybody that I'm aware of. Definitely not me. You are absolutely entitled to your own opinions on what you like about any scene or model. It should never be about holding a wet finger to the wind and gauging a general direction or mood before deciding what to like or dislike...or what to post in writing. That's true about life in general and right down to what we share in writing in here. There are never any "wrong" opinions about our likes and dislikes in porn. There are only equal opinions. Some of us may be more forceful in our wording. Some of us may use much more ink per se. lol

But even a novel length review of several paragraphs doesn't ever render someone else's review of just one or two sentences invalid or less worthy of consideration.

Please don't take it personally if some of your opinions are not always shared by others. You've been around long enough to know that any given moment in here we will either find ourselves in the majority, the minority, or somewhere in between. Even times when we find ourselves in the minority (of forum posters at least) it never automatically means that the majority of viewers on the site mirrors the majority consensus of the forum. As you allude to yourself, your views on this scene for instance (and those of others) could actually totally represent the majority view of the overall non-forum membership. Because forum posters are a only small sampling of thousands of members.

Being in the minority, when it happens, doesn't ever mean for instance that "Nobody else is entitled to an opinion around here." We are all given a space (and even multiple spaces) to write down our say and have those posts stay up forever for all to see. Sometimes a majority of people in agreement in here are going to be a minority viewpoint compared to those who post on the bottom of the scene page. And on any given Sunday who knows which conflicting viewpoint (when it is in contradiction) is actually shared a by a majority of the members? So sometimes a majority consensus in here in the forum can actually be in the minority. And the minority opinions will actually represent a majority.

Everybody who is in here is given the ink and the opportunity to share their personal opinions on anything and everything for posterity. If it was all about conformity and a popularity contest by way of trying to figure out how to stay in lockstep and agreement on everything, it would make for a pretty useless and boring exercise and experience in here. If we all agreed on everything...they must as well just shut the forum down. I'd want no part of it. haha

Bruno with shorter hair. For me it really depends on the angle you're looking at it from. Some angles look far better than others. Honestly I'm not really digging it. But I don't hate it either. I could get used to it. haha

I am really surprised that people are still going on about the hairstyles in this scene. Again, I didn't watch the scene as these two models performing together is not of any interest to me. I want at least one of the models to be at least somewhat believably straight. But from the still their hair looks fine.

I see that the current rating is 3.75. I wonder if had they had different hairstyles, would the rating be any higher? That has never been a factor in my enjoyment of a porn scene. But perhaps that's just me........

I have watched this scene and I admit it was somewhat better than I expected. But only somewhat. I did enjoy the rubbing together of dicks at the end. It's kinda my thing. hehe

I was concerned that we might have 3 or 4 more of these Justin scenes held back in the can with the same funky haircut. But upon checking his most recently released scenes it appears that possibly the last 3 were filmed in the same batch as this one. Typically the models get 4-5 scenes filmed per visit. If I'm right in this conclusion, then Justin may or may not have one more scene in the can. Also if this conclusion is accurate (and I hope it is) and these other 3 scenes were filmed in the same batch as this one...then that would mean that wiser adults did eventually prevail upon him to load down his hair with gel and smooth it into a more attractive look.

Justin is still sporting this new 'do all over his Twitter page. So apparently he likes it. I admit that as a boss if somebody you like shows up at the Broke Straight Boys house with a new haircut they think is great, and you think that it's either terrible or that many members who are current fans won't like it...or both... It's very difficult to say as much to the model without offending him or hurting his feelings. But that is part of the responsibility of being a boss. Many times being a boss requires you to put on the big boy pants of the older, wiser, more mature and worldly adult and having those awkward, uncomfortable, but very necessary conversations.

It's unfortunate that a good (and very handsome) model like Justin is in a vid with such a sub-par rating and reception. I don't think he should have been filmed looking like this with the funky resting look of the hair and the unruly mane flopping all over his face during the active parts of the scene itself. But at least I have reason to hope it's the only one.

He has cut his hair.....not sure when. I actually didn’t mind his longer hair in the scene with Tyson or Derek. But I didn’t care for it in this scene or the one with Max, where he has it pinned back.

as I said before, I think the scene would have gotten a better score on the old upload schedule, sandwiched between a new model’s BTS and Solo...lol. Like back in April. Now that we have a few less scenes and a few more straight models, it’s hard to be wowed over this scene.
I don’t think the scene was actually that bad. Bruno’s cumshot was great. But we’ve had the Ski Clesi creampie, (actually ALL of the Sky Clesi scenes) since this scene was filmed. We’ve also had Steel, Parks, Cody, Kace, Elijah, JJ, and soon the return of Pitt. Too much straightness to go along with the title of Broke Straight Boys to really jump up and down for this scene. I think this scene would’ve scored at least a 4, 3 months ago.

Great pics. He is an exceptionally handsome guy. And I think that he like Gage Owens who used to model here, are great to pair with newbie straighter guys. I personally don't go for "gay on gay" scenes at Broke Straight Boys

Yes.

The scene itself is not an exceptionally good one. It would not have gone much over 4 if it had made it to 4. But the answer to your question (in my opinion only) is yes.

There's the incredibly handsome Justin I remember, know and love. Having just recently looked at his whole catalog of Broke Straight Boys scenes, this might be his best looking haircut yet. (IMO)

This doesn't mean that he should never go long with his hair again if he wants to. But there has to be a plan in place ahead of time of what to do with it once it has some length. Some guys can really rock the long hair very well. But it needs to be professionally styled so that it has good symmetry.

Mikeyank, I will give you my opinion about your question. I don't think it would have made any difference in the ratings for this scene if Justin had a shorter, different hairstyle. There were several problems for me with this scene. His Partner, first and foremost, probably turned me off more than anything, and then there was the haircut ....Personally, I have always liked Justin, and still do, but mostly as a bottom for a good mostly straight top...He is really a handsome, goodlooking fellow when he has a nice well groomed haircut.............

So much better....Here he looks handsome and more masculine.
