Just watched Season 1 of the Broke Straight Boys TV Show

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed watching Season 1 of "Broke Straight Boys"...it was outstanding. As a 'porn' company to show what goes on behind the scenes....brilliant. The fact that everything, good and bad, that happens is shown? I applaud you all for that....Well Done. When is next season out on netflix type stream please?

I should probably let management address this but I don’t think there are current plans for more seasons at this time. But season one was great. It just never got picked up by a big network.

Welcome to the forum though. There is lots of interesting stuff in the site both old and new. There are currently before and after scenes of many of the new scenes and more behind the scenes on J4F, which are smaller versions of behind the scenes like the TV show except more nudity.

I'm glad you enjoyed it and welcome IanAParker. It was very expensive to produce with little benefits to us but I'm still very thankful I was able to produce it because it was a dream of mine. It was edited for Logo but it never sold to them. There was definitely some internal issues with staff right after the TV show and everything that happened after the TV show should be season 2. I am looking at writing a book about everything because it is a crazy story. If we could get the proper network involved I would love to do a season 2.

have you tried Netflix? They’re always adding new LGBTQ series all the time. They could maybe air the original to see how much interest it brings in. Hell, why not. They added “Hey Qween” which started as a YouTube series.

Companies like Netflix are only interested in financing a program when the 'archive' has not been sufficiently exploited for free. Most of the potential audience for BSB TV will have seen it over the years on YouTube or through this site. Both places it is still available for watch. If Netflix were to do a second season they would expect exclusive rights to broadcast it - usually 5 years. And BluMedia would find themselves in a complicated situation in terms of rights and IP.

I see BSB TV as a testament to the companies bravery in taking a risk and for having the wisdom to quit when the stars didn't align.
So much has changed with Broke Straight Boys since I was last a member (couple of years ago), it must be staggering the changes that EVERYONE has seen since Season 1 first aired (nearly 8 years?). I rewatched it myself recently and enjoyed it as a trip down memory lane. Love the enthusiasm though as all the guys work hard behind the scenes and its good to give them some recognition and love.
