Hi Billy,
Management hasn’t commented, but a few of us have speculated that with the virus, they have hired some local guys who do not need to fly, and that the labs that test for STD’s may be closed as well so it’s either oral or condom scenes coming up for the duration of the pandemic. Just speculating.

I'm glad to hear that. I would hate to see us revert to having a steady diet of oral only scenes as we did in the old days.
Thank you for your efforts for Broke Straight Boys SC just announced too bad this week, no updates for the entire week. SC was 3 scenes, then 2, then 1, now 0 this week. They claim "Something New And Exciting On The Way"....Perhaps they have figured how to do less than 0 scenes a week.

I think that we the fans of Broke Straight Boys should show some consideration and understand the unique circumstances that our country is going through right now. It would be unrealistic to expect to have a group of guys from various parts of our country to be flown into Atlanta, get their normal testing and live in a house in close quarters with fellow models, staff and production crew just like normal.
Is it more important to see guys fucking and rimming and swallowing cum right now or to take a step back in the name of good health and to potentially save lives?

I like oral scenes and I like things being changed up. I thought Gage Owens went above and beyond. Like a lot of guys in the past they start off slow. It can be exciting when a newbie like Lucas starts to get into it and improves.

Not sure what you mean by only doing oral scenes? This seems to be the only recent oral scene that I've noticed I also just recently signed up again and I have a lot to catch up on. If you didn't like this scene I bet there's a lot of scenes you haven't seen that are steaming hot.

We have many scenes in the can so I do not see us having any update issues. We are always trying to be proactive.

Very good and fair point. Broke Straight Boys states that it has a lot of recently filmed but not yet released content. It the coronavirus is protracted and new content starts to run down, I would suggest starting a weekly "Best of Broke Straight Boys Scene" with management picking one great scene from the archives each week and give it some exposure to the newer Broke Straight Boys members who might never have seen it.

Totally agree with this. Oral scenes are fine but I think we have been spoilt over the last few years with most scenes being bareback. If these are now to be included I think they are going to need to be more inventive as to how they do these. The next oral scene up with Jos Alvarez and Chase will be interesting in that it's not set in a bedroom, so maybe different locations to do oral scenes maybe the answer. Certainly the one with Gage Owens and Lucas did not hit the spot for many members of this site judging from its low score.

I've been watching a bunch of older scenes and I gotta say some of those oral scenes are Smoking HOT! Even a lot of the solo scenes are pretty hot. Personally, I don't care if a model wears a condom or not, he always pulls it off for the grand finale anyway. If the guy is hot and knows how to put on a good show I'm happy. Hell I could watch some of the guys slowly strip down to their birthday suits while the vacuum the carpet and still get a thrill out of it.

Yes. If they figure out how to do something "new and exciting" while posting less than zero scenes per week...please let Mark and them in on the secret. I'm sure they'd be very interested. haha
In seriousness though I know all the studios are struggling to figure out how to safely either continue filming or resume filming under these current conditions. (Just like every other commercial business model is trying to sort out for themselves across the world.)
While Broke Straight Boys tries to figure their own way out of this seemingly no-win situation, speaking for myself I will not leave the site even if the worst case scenario happens and they are forced to stop all new hard-core porn filming for an extended length of time. Broke Straight Boys is actually better off in relation to some other studios in that they have a huge archive going back about 14 years. And that includes a percentage of high quality BTS vids that would still keep older and especially newer members entertained if there is no other new content being offered. Plus they have this forum that few if any of the other sites offer. So it's a perfect social outlet for people whose lives are suddenly much more homebound focused and even lonely. I think Broke Straight Boys is actually better positioned to stay afloat than many other sites.
