I watched the before the scene and I am very excited to watch Justin’s first time. I found one thing disturbing to me during the before and that is that Justin gave the name of his home town. During the getting to know Justin segment he just referred to a small town in Oklahoma. He also said if anyone back home finds out he’d be in trouble. If that is the real name of his town, I think it should be blocked out to protect him. But other than that, everything including the kiss has me excited to watch the scene tomorrow.

I see that no one has commented on the scene after Chuck told us that it was posted. I did watch it last night and was very disappointed. I still like Justin and feel that he has a lot of potential, but the scene was kind of a hybrid of old school & new school Broke Straight Boys and it didn’t work for me. Going in I was excited to see a brand new guy in Justin, but the current format of no talk between the director and the models during the scene detracted from that for me. The models did have a scenario going of a first timer, but the words all came across as scripted “porn acting”, rather than genuine expressions of apprehension and later pleasure, which is what turns me on watching a newbie performing for the first time.

I did wonder as the action progressed why Justin had not removed his watch, and then as Lucas was jerking off, I wondered if some of his load might hit the watch, and sure enough it went exactly on the face of the watch and piled up there. I hope it was not a watch that Justin cared about because cleaning cum off of it may have been problematical. I imagine David will discuss that during the after the scene.

I hope Justin just gets into the sex in his upcoming scenes and they eliminate the porny dialog. I say either give us real off the cuff talking and reactions to what is happening or just keep your mouth closed except to suck, kiss or moan. lol

You know...back in the old days, I was able to talk during the scene and I think a lot of members enjoyed it because they felt as if they are there directing the scene along with me or at least they felt they were part of the scene.

This new Broke Straight Boys style, I have to reframe from talking during the "sex scene" and at times I want to say a comment or say something during the sex scene but I can't in today's filming. I am not sure if the new members of this site would even appreciate the commentary during the sex scene but I do agree with some of the scenes I've been filming, its missing that ingredient of my commentary during the sex scene and I think in this case, it would have been appropriate, but again, who knows if the other members would have like that.

This site also has become two worlds, on this forum you guys are the most critical, most opinionated guys, but yet when you read the screen reviews, most members enjoy watching the scene and based on the "managements" research, it seems most members prefer not to hear the commentary, and they seem to really enjoy this scene and many of the other scenes as well.

While I save everything, not big on listening to before or after scenes but I always read others comments. As to third parties talking during a scene I agree with Jay. I use to listen to the intro and exit as part of the scene & think separate before & after scenes is unnecessary most of the time. But that is just me.

Its always best to go back to the BSB1.0 older videos. The format was much different back in those days. I would have the guys on the futon, do the interview and it wouldn't be considered an update, after we had our "banter" the guys would start with the sex scene. It was one large scene so I would do the interview and without editing or cutting up the scenes, I would say to the guys, something to the effect, "Okay, lets stand up and get undressed and see what you guys look like without your clothes" and then having them sit there in there undies, I would direct them and ask them to kiss, most of the times the guys back then didn't kiss, then I would ask them, "who wants to start with feeling each other dicks" and then one of the guys would start touching the dick and then I would ask them to start sucking the dick, and as we rolled with the scene, the two guys were fucking.

Normally when it came to the hardcore sex part, I would not talk as much, but I would inject some questions to the bottom boy like "how does it feel" or ask the top guy "he must have a very tight hole"...and then I would let them continue to fuck and once the guys shot there load, I would then talk to them about the scene and the scene was over.

Where today, the last interview is another update back then, it was one big scene and not chopped up into 1st interview, then hardcore scene and the final/last interview. Back then it was all together in one scene.

However, we didn't have the software to see if the members liked when I spoke. Here on this forum, we had a lot more members participating so 90% of the members on the forum with there feedback enjoyed my banter while the guys were having sex while about 10% of the members hated it and wanted me to keep my mouth shut during the sex.

But I think today, since the format has changed in the past 8-9 years, the newer members that are not familiar with BSB1.0 will most likely freak out if I did my banter the old way.

This is what Mike is talking about. Today I do my best to input the older style with the newer style and put my twist to the newer Broke Straight Boys and I believe its working since must members are enjoying what they are seeing overall.

In this scene, Justin was new but Lucas is not and in most recent scenes these boys already have porn experience. I think the last time I remember 2 models being completely new was Jake Spencer and Ethan Erickson and during that scene Sha had to give direction to get undressed, etc. and it was funny and worked. I guess if you, David, were working with 2 absolutely brand new to porn, I could see where a little more direction would be needed. And as I said before, in the beginning the audience didn’t know who any of these boys were so it probably worked then. Now it seems like one or both of the boys in the scene already know what they’re doing.

I hear what your saying Mike....the magic is gone because we live in a different world today. I grew up in the 80's and I love the 80's, I think the 80's was a great time but now today, for me our world, our society has gotten much worse over time.

Getting back to Broke Straight Boys, I think Broke Straight Boys had to adapt and morph to reflect today's world. Most of the members that watch Broke Straight Boys and I even think "management" have forgotten that this is a very niche site, its not your normal gay porn site but the members expect it to be so that is one obstacle we have to tackle and overcome.

The new boys that appear on Broke Straight Boys, some of them are going to be brand new guys and some have experience. One thing I notice with these new boys, they are very into social media and they have watched a lot of porn so some of them have that "cheesy" porn mentality because that is what they think porn is from there own experience watching it at home. Although I can explain to them about Broke Straight Boys and what is Broke Straight Boys all about, each guy is going to be different and there experience here filming is going to be different. At least Justin didn't say things like "my boi pussy"..."fuck me harder, daddy"...and things of that nature, then I would have stopped the camera and jumped off my roof....LOL. For me filming it, I didn't find it cheesy at all. Normally if I do find it cheesy, I stop the camera and tell the models no cheesy, please.

Also as I mention before in other threads, the talent pool out in the real world is very thin and we've been on a lucky streak to find non-experience porn boys that are doing this for there first time AND having little to no sex on top of that. As for guys like Justin, they are a work in progress they are new and they need a bit of training here and there to get themselves use to this.

While we get experienced guys, I do expect more from them as well compared to the newbies so we have all sorts of different types of boys with all different levels of sex and experience.
