I'm with you 100% on all of your post. I sat there during the intro shaking my head as I just could not get what was so funny. I stopped and went back to the beginning and I still did not get it. It seems to me that when the scene is being shot and the producer/director is listening to what's going on if it's not clear, stop shooting and give some direction and start over again. But perhaps when you are there in the studio, it all makes sense and you understand what's going on, it's just when it goes on line for us customers, at least some of us don't get it.
